Dean Windass has every right to call the club, just what he wants to. He can call it Melton Bottoms for all I care. If he is paid to represent the club, he is just the same as any employee of the club and no worse a person.

Booing him is shallow. Attacking him on twitter is pathetic as are some of the comments on here.

Many who do not want the name changed, now accept that it will happen.

Will it? Why have people accepted it, have I missed something?

Maybe he thinks saying Hull Tigers, Hull Tigers will guarantee his employment as Hull City's ambassador. As he says the deal hasn't been signed yet.

All those around me singing "You can still yer Hull Tigers up yer arse" knew why they were singing.

I think you're a small minded ****.

Interesting times....

Players and the media cannot use Hull Tigers and in some cases simply say Hull, instead of Hull City.

Much gets made of the 1904 chant, but it needs a countdown to get it started. CTWD appears to be struggling with its creditablilty.

On the one hand it makes statements that it wants to be involved in the community and yet its supporters resort to cyber bullying.

Anyone who has a view that is supportive of Hull Tigers gets verbally attacked for it, what next, physical attacks in the street!

If it's his opinion he can go on TV and say what he wants.

That's what showbiz is all about... The media is giving you lot what you want, and you lap it up. He isn't on TV to bore people.

Doesn't it make him look silly, calling things by their wrong name. Why didn't he go the full hog and go Southampton saints or Derek Bullard

CTWD doesn't exist anymore, remember. Unless they've only changed their name.
I'm really tempted to try and get a "Hull Tigers" chant going at the next game, just out of interest.

Perhaps you have, I suppose it depends on who you speak to. But there is a growing tide of opinion that the name will change. Both from within the club and from some who oppose it.

Why do people now think it will happen omega? Whats changed to give them that opinion.

A supporter of Hull Tigers slapped a young woman opposed to the name change, so we've already had one physical attack.

If you take a position you get a response, it comes with the territory. Only a naïve man would expect otherwise.

The 19:04 chant has been getting louder since the change of the Facebook page and "We say No" has made a reappearance.

CTWD have lost some credibility, yes, but not from the people you may think. If the FA changes its mind we'll see what Hull City Supporters Trust do, and if anything replaces it.

Not done too bad for such an idiot there has he. ****ing disgraceful some of the comments about Deano's M/H, intelligence etc.

Going into schools etc, ambassador for the club; brilliant finally treating ex players/legends how they should be treated.

I wonder if someone else, from some other walk of life, would be so swiftly reintegrated to such an iconic role? Rather than showing me he has overcome his very public issues (good luck to him with that), he is only showing me that he is happy to use them and our admiration of his achievements to further his own ends by promoting a lie, a figment of someone's imagination - he is unworthy of being influential in the lives of children, who should not be put in the way of shallow attention seekers.

I don't know see why. For City to become Hull Tigers it will all have to go before the FA Council again. If the Allams don't come up with very good new reasons to change the name the council will feel their time has been wasted. Expect the same result.

I think that the BPL in India trip showed some degree of sanction.

Generally in conversations that I have had about the name change, there does seem to be an acceptance that the FA will allow it to go ahead. The views expressed to me by several supporters is that they like us being in the top flight and if the price paid is a change in the clubs name, they may not like it but they will not stop going if it changes.

Who says it will be the same result? The FA got it wrong in the way it handled the application. There has been much made of the way that the club is pushing forward the name change, but in reality, the club has not stepped back in its approach. Money is still being made available to promote Hull Tigers. This to me at least signals two things, confidence and resolve and these are the two things that the FA lacks in anything it does.

Utter rubbish and an extremely stupid thing to say.

That is exactly the same argument presented before it was rejected, so what has changed. It's bollocks, no proof, anywhere - the FA judgment was proof against what you are saying.
