i liked ward and i personally would be happy with him but what has he actually done since he left us?

im sure he will bring back stability which is what we need but is he good enough to make us challenge?

Well he did get the 82ers promoted and of course Chelteham and got Carlisle into play offs but failed out at Colchester <ok>

mcghee has a better record getting teams promoted. then failed at aberdeen.

reality is, 91st from 92nd - 2nd bottom in the football league, the managers available wont attract quality managers.

Ward could be a great mentor for someone like Stewart/Walsh/Tillson.
His best days of frontline managership though, I think, have gone

Very true wouldn't want to be in Higgs' boots right now he's got to get it right this time. IMO I think they should let North and Stewart have ago until end of season if we bring in Ward and are relegated then we will be calling for his head if we go down with North and Stewart then North will be cheaper to pay off and Stewart will just go back to his job looking after the youth.

All the signs point to John ward.

I'd be happy with Wardy - anyone in fact, who can deliver us league football and get the players playing for the shirt again...

Still likely that Ward will include Marcus Stewart in his first team set-up. There's great mutual respect between them #bristolrovers

Can't fault the board for finding a quick replacement but **** me how many managers is it now since Trolls, I lost count <yikes>
