Well, following on from other similar threads, CF has been linked with a move away to other Boards. These boards have been rumoured to have offered to literally quadruple his salary.
CF has never indicated that he has any interest in leaving Not606, but it is believed that personal terms have been agreed and the only sticking point is his desire to avoid spending ages on the bench- he much prefers a sofa these days!
Is this Just Another rumour? Or could it be turning Ugly?

He's been pretty anonymous over the past season, it must be said. While we don't have much depth at mod, I'd listen to offers.

He'd be a sad loss but no one is bigger than the Board and if his heart lies elsewhere we will have to let him go.

Oh the irony........Nah its just another of those bloody rumours....was it in the Daily fail? Oh I'm told it was in the united fans magazine...it's bound to happen then!! Oh bloody hell what are we to do.........? <laugh>

I'd be a little bit annoyed by this to be honest. Looking at our mod depth, Beddy has been a great servant, but in reality is more of an impact sub these days. Qwerty has shown potential but he's still young and adapting - I don't think we should go into a full season relying on him. I like TSS in general, but his form has been a bit erratic recently.

We know Channon likes it here, and the board seems to suit him - I don't think he's asking for silly wages, so why not get him tied down on a new contract sooner rather than later. There's not firm offer from elsewhere I don't believe - sounds more like agents stirring at this stage - but we don't want his head turned either way.

If he wants a life of idleness there are plenty of boards with no action on them whatsoever.
Also if his agent is putting it about that he wants a transfer elsewhere, my advice is to sack the agent.

I don't think he'd get much action at another board. I think only Hull and Sunderland would give him a decent amount of playing time.
