He had a perfect through ball played to him at the weekend which my son would've known to put himself between the defender and the ball to ensure that the only way the defender was getting the ball was by fouling him - Jozy allowed the defender to make a tackle which looked easy - these were non-league defenders and every time he got the ball he looked like he had no idea what to do. the only reason we scored against Chelsea in the league cup is because he ****ed up an easy shot. He has had chances created for him and engineered space but he doesn't shoot and hardly wins a header. He isn't good enough. He isn;t the only one from Saturday's game by the way but, as a striker, he just isn't good enough

I don;t see it personally - I think he'll come back and be our player to turn to. As good as Ings at that level and highly thought of previously by a number of big clubs. Never had a prolonged chance at Sunderland so maybe this is his time

Keeps his value up. Especially if the team looking at him are still in the cup...eg Forest.

Stuart Gray seemed to be expecting an extension only this morning after speaking to Gus. So something seems has to have changed very quickly. Only thing I can think is we've accepted an offer for him.
 
im sure if whickham gets the same game time as Jozt his goal return will be better
FFs £6m for Graham £6m for Jozzi £8m for whickham £12m for Fletcher we not far off the price of Suarez

Scocco coming in and Wickham recalled. Begs one question to me. Who is getting sold in the next few days. Fletcher, Jozy or Wickham? We play one up front and Gus has already said he won't drop the one up front system. We Don't need 4 strikers at the club. One of them is going which one? Not who you want, who do you think?

Honestly? Meh! Not one of the three have shown they can lead the line on their own. They're as useless as each other. Just cause one gets more abuse then the others doesn't mean I want that one to go more than others. They're all terrible. Any one of them can go I don't care.

Sounds like ‪#‎swfc‬ loan striker Connor Wickham could well be part of a swap deal for Brighton players going to Sunderland.

The fans who are on his back are fans of **** players like cattermole & that. plus some of them said Danny Graham would be a good signing to <laugh>.

This is Sunderland fans for you, wickham is **** so loan him out, we loan him out then he scores some goals then they want him back again <laugh>
 
The striking role, more so than any other position on the pitch, is all about confidence..I don't for one minute think Altidore is as bad a player as he has consistently shown for us, but his confidence is shot to pieces and he looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights every time he gets the ball in an advanced position. Fletcher has proved in the past that he is well capable of scoring goals, so in his case I believe that it is a fitness problem following his injury problems rather than a confidence issue that is holding him back. Wickham is in my opinion a young lad who I has a lot to offer if given a fair crack of the whip, and if he does come back to play for us, I would like nothing better than to see him bloom..

Sunderland have picked up 1.1 points per game in the matches (12 games) Lee Cattermole has started this season but only 0.5 in those he hasn’t (10 games).

Wrong again. End of <laugh>
 
Apparantly we are after 3 Brighton players with Whickham going to Brighton as a straight swap....
We know 2 of the Brighton players, who could the other be ?
Ulloa maybe ?
