A good post with some good points.

The only issue is with the catering boycott. It's a good idea but one that Ashley probably envisaged when he tendered out the catering services. He has already pocketed the money they paid NUFC for the contract and only they would suffer with a boycott.

Fair enough, but what this shows is that collectively we have a lot of knowledge about this club, this man and what we need to do.

I think we should start to collect this kind of information in a single place, then engage the likes of Mark Douglas, George Caulkin, Lee Ryder and explain what the intention is. With things like a boycott, it's too emotive, it's split opinion and it makes us look bad. But if we engage hugely, collectively, to really pestering the sh!t out of this fat, ignominious buffoon, we might get somewhere. If we make it utterly clear that we will not suffer him anymore, that we understand and know where the problem lies - absolutely, near enough 100% "vote" from the fans that we agree on - then we can really try and enforce change. If we get a collective voice, we can gain strength, gain followers, then broaden the reach to seek interest ourselves and maybe even threaten action, like "strikes" against the club. When the media's attention is fully focused on what we mean, we can do what we want!

I'll spend some time on this later. For now I've created a Facebook page to start things off. I just find it impossible to believe that we cannot have one, joined up approach to removing this fcking pleb. We've given him 6 years with one 300-strong march. The media have "let him" ban them. I'm not solicitor but that just don't seem legal to me. Enough's enough.

Geez... we're in a rut. Bad run, but hardly surprising given the players that aren't playing now.

We were doing well up to the Arsenal game.

The way I see it this might be a good thing. At least the board will realise our 2nd string is far off from being premier league quality.

Problem is, he doesn't give a **** about the 2nd string! Nowt will change his mind on that one. That's why the whole thing is so galling - Everyone can see the problem apart from that fat twat! Thats why there is no ambition, cos he won't try to improve on someone who is not a 'purple' player.

On a slightly different slant, we all want rid of him, right? BUT, what happens if he drops down dead tomorrow? Anyone got any idea? Will we be up **** creek? Will he leave the club to some nefarious little tosspot underling from his family? Will that improve our situation or make it worse?

Two kids and a divorcee? It'd go to the holding company and the board of that. Then it'd be sold cheap, a la Katherina Liebherr at Southampton.

Is that right? Surely even MA has to publish every year? Not that I've seen anything. It's so difficult to sort the **** from the rumours from the truth.

Last accounts are for the period ending 30/06/12. Accounts for the year ending 30/06/13 are due 31/03/14.

He is up to date with his filings but accounts are never less than 9 months out of date and can be as much as 21 months out of date.

We owe no money to anyone but Ashley. There is no public information as to what payments have been made to Ashley since June 2012 or what is outstanding.

So we should know more by the end of march? I hope the club comes out with a lot of info at the next fans forum. There is way too much uncertainty about and whatever else is wrong, the mood of uncertainty cannot be helping the results.

The lack of replacements for Kinnear and Donachie makes me wonder if he's closer to leaving than first thought and is reluctant to put any more money in

At the risk of being turned on by a pack of starving wolves you lot don't half talk nonsense, £111 million debt, no it's not debt it's interest free loans owed to Ashley which would be added to the prospective purchase of the club, the constant bullshit about Ashley creaming money off is stupid, he is taking back money he loaned the club to cover annual loses and clear the original debt. As for hounding him out I would be careful for what you wish for as you may very well get the owner you deserve, I would sit back and wait to see how the club ends the season and then deals with the issues surrounding the squad and player recruitment in the next transfer market, hopefully there will be a clearer vision without last summers side show. Yes I expect to get **** for this but some of the vitriol and obscene commentary directed at people on here is beyond understanding, as I say be careful what you wish for, Leeds, Portsmouth show the way it can go.

To be perfectly honest I'm getting a bit fed up with everything and I damn give a dont anymore.

I cannot find one post about Ashley creaming money. Not one. What I see is an endless list of posts questioning his ambition as owner of this football club, questioning whether or not he understands and - most importantly - whether he gives a fook.

It was his choice to buy the club without due diligence, his misguidance that took the club down and cost yet more money. The club may be paying back what he forked out for, but it was his fcking stupidity that really cost him money, and Freddy Shepherd's stupidity that still resonates to this day. The club will deal with the issues in the Summer in exactly the same way it dealt with the issues last Summer, or in January, or by the appointment of Kinnear, or Wise, or Jimenez, or sacking Keegan, or Shearer, or Hughton. It will "deal with it" by the pig-headed idiocy that makes Mike Ashley a ruthless businessman, but a callous, petty and ultimately awful owner.

To conduct transfer business we need a DoF. We aren't even fcking looking for one. To work as a club we need a Reserve Coach - the club has sacked one and stated it won't be replacing 'til the Summer. Hell, we need a competent manager, we won't get that either.

I hear you, I tried defending the regime for exactly the points you made, but now I see it for what it is - the lights are on and it ain't pretty.

This is what I have had more than enough of, absolutely sick to fcking death of hearing him repeat himself time and again, only to follow it up with yet another inept, worthless performance. From the Chron:

....on Wednesday, Pardew said: “We certainly lacked confidence.

“We lacked a lot of other things as well.

“We needed a break in front of goal. The goalkeeper made two or three outstanding saves for Tottenham.

“The overall performance is what is the concern for me.

“Not the result, not the fact we have not scored.

“I will make sure when we play Aston Villa that hopefully that will not be replicated again.”

United’s enforced break due to a lack of FA Cup commitments was another sore point for the Toon Army this weekend. Yet Pardew insisted he would use the break to locate where things are going wrong.

He added: “At least it gives us the chance to do some work.

“I thought one or two lacked confidence in their game.

“I need to assess that.

“Whether to give them a break, bring players in but certainly we will be analysing aspects of that game.”

Not sure we're speaking the same language here. What do you think a loan is if it isn't debt ?

If your point is that the terms of the financing MA has provided are very good ones, I agree. That's why I said that MA has done very well by the club in terms of finances while lacking any ambition or concern for the fans. I was half expecting an adverse re-action to the statement that he has helped the club's finances but there wasn't one. Most supporters are fairly realistic.

If MA were to sell in the summer I for one would look at his time in charge as beneficial on the whole - - he will have sorted the mess left by FF Shephard so that a new owner can start with a clean slate. A bit like the Thatcher era: deeply unpleasant in itself, something to be avoided under any normal set of circumstances, not without its destructive elements but, given the circumstances at the time, probably necessary.
