I know mate i was only joking and didn't expect a lesson. Oh well they can Email me next time and i will answer it like the club does in about 5 years?

On a serious note i think we have some decent well educated posters on here (not me) who would have represented Not606 in a professional way.

Ellers, we appreciate that was in jest, it wasn't meant to be a lesson to you.

Maybe it was a complete coincidence that you posted what you did, however there has been a perception that the Trust is asking those sorts of questions of the club, which isn't the case, and it's important to the Trust that supporters understand what QPR1st's position is and its role within the wider community.

In a nutshell and although it's extends beyond this, the Trust is registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts 1965-78 and its objectives include preserving and promoting the traditions of the Club in the community which it serves and to represent the interests of the community in the running of the Club.

Back to the OP, would've been nice to have been recognised and asked - but hey-ho, who are we anyway? Just another group of core supporters albeit one that likes to mix it up with fans from all the other clubs.

With all the money involved in contemporary football, you'd think that prem corporates would stop at nothing for the (free) opportunity to engage with their client base. All it would take is the time to register on here and the other sites.

That's the problem with football though innit? Still in the dark ages in so many ways.

Hey there – this was raised in the meeting.

Ian and Paul started with a small selection and sought feedback on whether we felt it was correct. Several other websites were mentioned, such as this one, QPRdot.org and Vital QPR who were not in attendance.

I followed this up personally with some suggestions on how the club could increase involvement, however, it can be difficult to discuss topics when there are too many people in the same room – so I can sympathise with all sides on this one. The club themselves asked the Fan Sites to provide them with some statistics so they could guide the selection process next time around and ensure they are covering a wide range of supporters. I mentioned in that context that there are sites that do not have a large volume of traffic, but who still had a voice however niche it may be and they've taken that feedback on board.

They needed to start somewhere and stop somewhere though – and I think given how the meeting went and that it overran by a long way from the allocated time, that they got this starter meeting right on this occasion in terms of numbers. I think it would be good for you to drop the club an email and ensure you are considered for next time. I guess this forum may be misunderstood in the context of having other club forums on here as it can come across as just a general football community as a whole rather than a QPR specific one.

Who the fcuk is @neildejyothin

Never heard of him, bet he was representing Qpr reports site

That would be me.

I was representing LoftForWords as mentioned in at the top of the meeting minutes. Clive who runs LFW was unable to attend due to business and I went on his behalf.

I write for LFW from time-to-time, write my own QPR blog, very occasionally in AKUTRs, am a longstanding home and away season ticket holder, in recent years have coached the QPR's women's team over a two-year period and was later their official photographer too. I am also on the committee of QPR1st and have been for the past five years.

In my day job I am a Producer working on the game Football Manager – where I've been for nearly 10 years.

Hope that helps.

Actually two good questions posed here, why weren't we invited and secondly who would we send?

Roller or Nines for me to ask the right questions.

Thanks for the mention Tooting, I'm very honoured. However, there are many great posters on our board who would represent us with rectitude. Yourself included. Cheers mate <ok>

Response to QPR1ST, who I have come across before on here; and Neil, who I haven't. Welcome to a couple of guys who have to be credited for putting their time where their mouth is. Respect for that.
