Too many aspects to list. I don't just not watch any other sport on TV but I don't watch any other TV either (I do download entire series if they catch my or my g/f's attention though) so it's a big deal that I devote so much time to it. If I had to choose one overriding reason why I watch it would be because there's a story in every qualifying session, every race, every sequence of three or four races, and every season. It's like a really good TV series with multiple sub-plots and great characters who are sometimes good and sometimes bad but always human.

The best drama I have ever watched. (or reality series).
Especially when Ted Kravitz does the news of the week lol

Football gets a world cup every 4 years, I get my world cup every 2-3 weeks.

If anything it's the performances of the drivers in the car, pushing it to the maximum which I enjoy.

Simply just addicted.

And because of Lewis. If he wasnt in F1. To be honest I wouldn't be watching it. He is the most exciting to watch out there, that comes with it's downsides(crashes mistakes) but I don't know why anyone would support a driver in F1 if you didn't think there were the best out there.

Also the circuits attract me.

I watched F1 before 2007, but Lewis has certainly heightened my interest in it, to the extent that I watch P1, P2 and P3 if I am not working. And if Lewis retired tomorrow I still would.

Re the thread, I would tick most of the boxes, including the crashes, sorry!

I've watched f1 because of Nigel Mansell, Micheal Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton. Also love the Williams FW series car 93 to 97. Love the RB6 and 7 also, but Vettel is frustrating my current favourite driver.

Loved F1 since I was a kid. British GPs at Aintree, cars in national colours etc. Why would anyone not want to watch on TV if you cant go to see it live. Also it paid my wages for a good few years.

I watch F1 because I love cars.
I watch F1 because I love watching drivers doing things with cars I can only dream of.

I don't watch for any of the reasons you listed Manny. Cars and racing (and bikes) is my life really. It's 'in the blood' you might say.

I always watched because it promised the bravest alphas competing to be the best in an area I know from personal experience

However, it's now more a WWF style slapstick show with pastiche heros and less than heroic winners

I watch F1 to see the best drivers doing what they do best, The cars there intricate designs.

As someone said its like a series, it unfolds during the season, we see different races, different winners , and the characters

The politics are great to follow.

F1 is a part of my life, i follow it everyday, its more than soccer.
