No Dawson? I can see why you haven't got Koren in there, although I think he's technically the best player in our team, he doesn't fit in and I think he'll go in the Summer. Daws has got a few years left in him though surely (despite those horrible errors on Saturday).

Danny Rose won't come here. He is a Spurs younster who Harry Redknapp will be looking to develop next season, and if he decides to loan him I bet there will be Premier League interest.

K-B, a few on here think he is the one Pearson described in his interview after the Middlesbrough game and tbh, he is the only one that fits that bill when I try and think of suggestions (A exiting, young and tough yorkshire lad LW. Another name that has been hovering around this board is Joe Dudgeon, LB from Manchester United youth and now people have realised there is a possible replacment for a decaying Dawson and not just we'll find one somewhere. That open striker position could go to Nicky Ajose from United again (suprise, suprise) but my only fear about him is that he has been on loan at Bury and only scored 12 in 25 in L2 (but i'll put that down to lack of good service, even though there promoted) so can he cut it at Championship level? Apart from that, that's pretty much the best possible outcome for us... Oh yeah, I expect Nigel to bid for Hobbs or Gerrard or maybe even both.

Has he been playing up front for them? From what I saw preseason I wouldn't play him up front if we got him. I'd stick him on the opposite flank to Stewart with 2 others up front.

You're better off asking OLM, he knows all the little details on players...

Danny Rose fits what NP was saying, but I don't think we would get him should he be available for next season for the reasons I gave above. I'll quite happily admit I'm wrong if he does come here because he's a class act.

Definitely think a bid for Hobbs is forthcoming, AP said we would be trying to get Ayala in the Summer and the signing of Gerrard we all know depends on what league Cardiff are playing in come August. Would love all 3 to come in, what a defence we would have!

In terms of other transfers I couldn't name anyone except Ajose, and we have all been speculating over that one for some time. Would like to see a target man come in, I still think it's what we're missing. Charlie Austin would have been perfect, but obviously that one never happened. Jordan Rhodes from Huddersfield and Rory Fallon from Plymouth are two players I think would fit into the City side, but I have no evidence to suggest they're coming to us

Wanderson is brilliant, but being Brazilian, would he qualify for a work permit?

Daniel Larsson would be a good shout, but with Malmo being a pretty big club, would he come here?

Mohamed Bangura - Talented 21 year old playing for AIK, Sierra Leone international, but again, work permit issues.

Gale Agbossoumonde - 6ft 2 Central defender, fully capped at USA senior level and would make the club a fortune on shirt sales. Is on loan at Djurgardens IF from Fort Lauderdale Strikers, who I can't say I've heard much about. With that in mind, he might be available on the cheap AND is only 19. But we all know about USA 'prodigies" don't we.....

These are the players in Sweden I rate, I would have thought Joe Dudgeon would be a good shout having played with Chester in the reserves at Man U and could slot in as a replacement for Dawson.

A little closer to home, I quite rate that Guily do Prado that plays for Southampton at the minute, would slot in well just behind Fryatt.

Oh sorry about that, i've got my facts wrong, it's another young Spurs player called Dean Parrett who came from our academy, they signed him for 2M from us before he'd even played a game <laugh>

Gale plays for my team in Sweden and he has been absolutely awful. He is all over the field.

Bangura is good, scores a lot of goals. And he shouldnt be that expensive.

I asked the Spurs about the chances of Danny Rose leaving and they thought it fairly likely, he hasn't had the impact they'd hoped and they now have Andros Townsend coming through in the same position and they think he's a better prospect.

Is your scouting from Football Manager? ;)

Lol no Febbos, I just like football a lot and I watch whatever is on TV/Internet, so I get to know players and spot them. If only I was employed by city :P (Besides Gale Agbossoumonde is pants on FM ;) )

About 3/4 years ago I went to watch a few of my mates who were playing for Hull reserves in the FA Youth Cup at Elland Road. It pains me to say but Danny Rose absolutely ran the show for Leeds, I said back then that he was going to be a big star.

The next I heard of him was when he scored that screamer for Spurs at the beginning of the season this year.

He looks class but to be honest I really cant see Harry wanting to let him go... he can only be late teens I would've thought, so big potential.

Anyway Hi to everyone, Ive been watching from a far for a while but thought now was the right time to give my ten penneth!!

Welcome.

Rose is actually 21 in just over a month, I think Spurs will have decided by now if he's going to make the grade or not.

David Murphy for left back (contract expiring at Birmingham in the summer) anyone?

Also Jon Aurtenetxe is supposed to be a good prospect, can play centre half or left back. Contract at Athletic Bilbao expiring in the summer.

(edit) should probably forget the latter, just seen that he's considered to have the potential to be a gem in the Spanish national team.

Welcome to the fold, Tigerlad! Hope to hear more from you in the future,in all things Tiger (or not) related, mate!

There's been some speculation about Nicky Ajose coming to Hull this video shows his ability at finishing + Corry Evans and Cameron Stewart <cool>. I like the look of Magnus Eikrem, no.10 and captain...

Jonas Olsson is apparently a free agent in the summer. Could he be the Swede we're after?

Edit: Just had a look on wiki an apparently he's with West Brom till 2013.
