It's blue yer daft ****.I'm only messing, well, I am colour blind but I can distinguish red from black. It is red isn't it?

Haha thanks mate, you weren't to know.
I'm colourblind by the way![]()

It does have its advantages ...!!!

I'm colour blind mate, not blind!
People always ask me "How do you know when the light is green at the traffic lights"...![]()
Colour blind also. Never really affects my life until some **** asks me to prove it and I can't see the boat in that test.
I think going forward it's an improvement. But we haven't improved at the back, and that will come to haunt us many times this year.
It's going to be another tough year for us, but if we survive this season, we have the foundations to move forward.
My daughter is asking me for an explanation as to what is so funny!! I told her and she didn't get it (she's 5 years and 2 days old)Pack of mad f**kers Iv'e just come back in and now pmsl getting some funny looks in the office now![]()
I don't and I get the impression Dick doesn't either.
I wrote on here a couple of weeks ago stating that Mathews, Kaboul, Coates and Lens had not moved us on at all as a club from the near disastrous last 3 seasons. After today my opinion is even more certain. We were dreadful.
Barring two glorious missed chances in the opening 5 minutes, we capitulated yet again and were it not for Pantilimons acrobatics, we could have shipped 5 or 6 in that first half. Marginally better in the second half (we couldn't have been any worse) at least we did score twice but we're scant consolation from what preceded it.
I was lambasted by some for daring to suggest our transfers of a Celtic reserve, a Spurs reject who hadn't played for 10 months and a warm and cold Liverpool reject all for less than a crate of milk from Tescos would be good enough. Lens is a good buy but we need another 3 or 4 £7/8m plus quality players if we are to start and compete.
I get the sense Advocaat is equally frustrated by his interviews on Friday and the very unhappy one tonight. Short needs to deliver before August is out or else I really think Advocaat will just walk away. After all, at 67 he doesn't need a season of struggle with second rate squad to bugger his illustrious cv up does he. He asked for quality. What he has got is bargain basement yet again.
No doubt I will have the same posters telling me I'm a doom and gloom merchant but the simple fact is we got well and truly humped off a team that isn't that good and will be struggling come May as well. It's ridiculous to think but next weekends game is already s massive 6 pointer considering we are likely to be relegation battlers all season yet again without quality signings.
Over to you Ellis.
Early assessment
Yedlin: hasn't played, can't judge, seen his speed and it's phenomenal, hope he has the ability to match it.
Mathews: Unlucky with an injury, only have preseason to go on which isn't enough to judge.
Kaboul: Shakey start and dropped out the team but has been outstanding since coming back in.
Coates: Poorest signing so far for me. Needs to up his game. Will have to wait to prove himself if Kaboul keeps up this form.
M'Vila: The nutter who was banded a liability and written of instantly has committed 2 fouls in 4 games and is absolutely head and shoulders above anybody else in the squad. This isn't next level, it's 4 floors up.
Ola: Very early days, he's so unfit but has a lovely touch and neat pass. He's an absolute unit, strong and great in the air. As he gains fitness we'll see he's a grafter too,. Very happy with this signing. I ear marked him as a target we should look at when the window opened.
Lens: Pace we've missed so much, he's caused problems every game so far and i expect him to be in among the goals and assists all season.
Borini: God I've missed him, even unfit he worked his socks off. We know he's good, great to have him back
That's 8 signings and only one which has disappointed me so far that being Coates.
Agree with the above. If at the end of this season we get rid of Graham, fletcher and co. We will have more room to play for a few more signings of the quality we've seen this season.
Yep, Dick may stay on if we improve. He and Congerton look like a match made in heaven. Bringing in such quality to a crisis club stuffed up in the north east of the country is no mean feat
