For goodness sake fellas, this is getting all a bit silly and over the top.

If you can't argue your case about something you post on here without resorting to slanging matches, then God help us.

If then someone feels the need to request a banning order against a fellow poster because they don't like the replies they get, then quite frankly that's pathetic.

Some people need to grow up or ship out.
 
I really think folks need to calm down and think before they post. Personal insults were made in the Southall thread and it is not acceptable. Do people really need to name call when making a post? I believe not and any debating point they have made is diluted to being meaningless. We can only guess who requested a banning order and thankfully it was addressed without a ban. So come on guys we can debate and discuss without resorting to personal insults.

I have requested Blue Sheep and I be set up as mods in the absence of Pont but really hope we all can moderate our own posts going forward.
 
Don't have a problem with either of you requesting mod status but also agree with Sparks, some people really do need to calm down and grow a pair, that thread was started with personal abuse and it was only ever going to go downhill from there. Maybe we've been infected from the Jack board <whistle><whistle>

The best wumming comes out of the blue and is subtle having a dig with every post has less effect. Similalry, things shouldn't get personal. Everybody has a viewpoint and people should respect those views even if they disagree with them. There is no need to make it personal.

Agreed! It's a forum ment for discussion and fun lets not take it too seriously! We all interpret football in different ways...that's why we come on here!!

Simple question is in the title of this thread. Who Requested A Banning Order?

I cannot for the life of me believe it is one of our own. This has the nasty whiff of an outsider.
 
You can make your own minds up who is responsible for contacting the supermod but until the person concerned owns up I'll leave you with someting to read from another board.

I saw it, just some inarticulate Cardiff supporter who didn't like my (completely non abusive) post on their board. Probably couldn't summon up the vocabulary to respond so thought he would tell me to **** off instead. Sad really.

I agree with this <ok>

Whoever requested a banning order to the supermod (presumably regarding a Cardiff poster) should at least have the balls to step up and say who and why. If it's because of something that was posted on HERE, just go back to your own board...IT IS THAT SIMPLE.
If they're gonna keep it inside a secret little cliche then we're all at risk of a ban for upsetting over-sensitive souls. IF that is the case, this forum is dead.
