OK. I'm back. I'm happy to throw in the towel and someone else can take over. I will not allow any horse to be slated . If you don't like it then I'm the wrong person for the job. I'll inform Syd today.

Ron don't spit the dummy my good man <ok>. You are the man for the job. Just because Quel myself and a few others disagreed with you about the closing of the BC thread doesn't mean he or anyone else wants you to stop. You do an excellent job <cheers>
 
Too late. I've resigned. When my moderation starts to be questioned, I'm obviously doing something wrong. I cannot accept undue criticism of any horse and to find their injuries as laughable is, for me, totally unacceptable. I think my empathy with horses is getting in the way and always will. I can not handle this type of thread so time I went.

I'm not sure how the next mod will be chosen. I await a reply from Syd on this.

I don't know who Relentless Force is Ron.

I've responded to your PM. I'll leave my comments private apart from the fact that you don't need to resign. I think that is a daft thing to do but at the end of the day I can't stop you from doing that.

I think you're being very unfair and childish to say that 'I got what I wanted' because that was never my intention and to be honest having re-read my comments it's a big leap to go from what I wrote to having an ulterior motive to get you to resign. I even posted an additional comment the morning after I started this thread that said I thought i'd made a bad decision and regretted it.

Just because we disagree on this one matter does not mean I wanted you to resign. I would have thought that was obvious. Nevertheless, I won't be massaging your ego by begging you to come back either.

This strikes me as an overreaction. The best thing would be to delete this thread entirely and act like it never happend. And soon.
 
The bully brigade win again, thought we had left that all behind with Fugees, its not Rons ego that needs massaging its the mindless minority who think theyare bigger and better than the majoirty around here.

Good luck in life Ron, shame you have decided to leave you did a great job on here, consider changing your mind if not wishing all the best.

Ron - Everybody on this forum knows your the right man to Mod this area, but with every aspect of lifes comes a little resistance to those that rule the roost!

Personally i didn't care whether you closed the thread or not, and as Quel has reiterated, his reaction was heat of the moment and he regretted it.

Just move on and forget it.....

There's certainly someone on this forum who has an inferiority complex though.

However, the fact that you took the trouble to post a new thread "Who mods the mods?" basically challenged my roll as moderator. At that point my roll ceases to to have any enjoyment. It's not a case of being childish; it's just something I don't need to be honest. I am not like a BBC moderator in that I did this job voluntarily and I did try to avoid threads from degenerating to the extent they did on 606.

I certainly wouldn't want you to massage my ego (if I have one), or anything else thanks.

Syd or I will advise what happens next.

Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah................ you ever think that Ron has more in his life than sitting around being insulted by some of the over inflated egos around here. Hes got a life unlike some who are religious around here, i think everyone knows who they are and they deem themselves to be the elite few and chosen ones ..........:-)

Close the place down Ron, this place isnt what it used to be, teh same people ruined 606 and Fugees, the only one missing is Famous and im sure he will be here in some guise

I'll reiterate again I don't think you should resign. I'm sorry my thread has led you down that path.
