It IS The Dikler - I never said it wasn't! Well done TC :) No one has yet got post 136 though .......

<laugh> well done stick. Should have got that one as I was there to see my favourite in those times win the Gold Cup. But he got pipped on the post by TD <wah>

Lets see how long this one gets you guessing - not long I'm thinking, although there IS a red herring in here <somersault>

The Dikler was my favourite Ron. Old fashioned steeplechaser. Barry Brogan rode him in the early days.
I went to Kempton to see Pendil's comeback race. I think he was as big as 10/1 with Fort Devon being the fav. Just had to back him and he won in a photo.

Stick again - he was winning a hurdle race there which I thought might have put you off
(I'm sure Stick is cheating but can't figure out how <laugh> :D )

He's using the Horse racing facial recognition id which is freely available on the Google play store :rolleyes:

I am a golfer Reebok, we don't cheat! If I didn't spot Arkle I would be written out of the family inheritance!

<laugh>

I've played golf with a few who did!

If you get my next one as easily, I'll really sulk :D

And here it is ...... and I suspect it's another easy one!

(note to self - Stick probably won't know the winner of the last race at Mark's Tey Point to Point meeting on Easter Monday 1988 - find a photo!)

Barry Brogan, that's a name I recall from the old 606 days. I seem to remember he was branded a drunk and his opinion could be taken with a pinch of salt <laugh>
