With the new season just over a week away. I was wondering who do we think will be the next players into Sunderland?

Verginin is apparently set to finalise a season long loan and Borinin . . . . who knows what's going on there?!?!

So who are the remaining pieces of the jigsaw? Didn't Gus say that it may shock some people?

Any thoughts?

Yep, Rodwell was the 'surprise' I guess!!! I think I would have settled for that mind! Though at this point I think I'd be surprised if we got Borini as well!

I'd imagine Rodwell has come because the club sold ambition to him or we simply paid the highest. Hopefully it's the first of those. This should hopefully mean another 2 signings of similar stature.

One of my mates reckons Van Gaal will chop Hernandez out of the team today, making him available.

I reckon he'll have plenty of offers but I think if he does go he'll end up leaving for Borini money, around £12-14m.

He suits this league as well, I don't really want to see him leave to be honest but he deserves game time...

Im sure we are only allowed one loanee from a premiership club, meaning it would be either Zouma or Moses but seeing as mourinho has given Zouma a squad number and David Luiz leaving I think he's wanting Zouma to push terry and cahill for a starting place.
