<laugh> Don't forget Coventry.

The City so dour that the Blitz actually made it better!

You're a tough man to please so I appreciate it. Were you able to cheer Buzsaky's goal despite him being the bastard child of Nigel Quashie and Fitz Hall?

Indeed Wats I posted on his performance last night on another thread. Never am I more happy than when the Buz shuts me up with a scorcher like that. His attitude too was spot on last night what with his defensive effort as well. If he continues this form between now and the end of the season there will be none more pleased than I and I will gladly post a thread to apologize for my attacks on him.

Has the BUZZZZZZZZZZ returned? Lets hope so.

you know times are changing when no QPR fans have said Norwich for fantasy relegation yet!

Personally, of the two spots left id prefer bolton and villa to fill them. Both are fairly no descript clubs in my eyes, with no one who i can warm to there.

the guys i want to survive.

Blackburn for the sake of Kean, who has put up with so much crap and done his job like a true pro.
Wigan because Martinez seems to be a decent genuine guy, and they play a nice game when they want to.
QPR because you've had a **** load of bad luck, and prima donnas, but turned it around. Plus bartons stopped twittering finally, and credit where its due, your guys are putting a real shift in now. (Also we often get points off you so some more next year would be nice!)
Id not like QPR to go down with its current wage structure either, it wouldn't be good for the club, and i think you've done your hard time in the wilderness already (know the feeling)
Also i love that the two teams with the 'tough' run ins (wigan and QPR) are the two performing and getting the job done! So much for fancy predictions eh lawro!

Nice post Battersea. Check out the thread "Swansea's football" to see who I think should get the team/manager of the season.

Its going to go right down to the wire. You boys can sit back and relax while the drama unfolds.

Sorry, I forgot Norwich, probably because they're not even as exciting as boring! Think its them colours getting lost on the grass. But congratulations with your survival - we'll sort that next year!

Wolves are goners - incidentally, I thought Van Persie was a total arsehole for his piss-take penalty last night, I hope someone sticks one on him for that!

The two others to go I hope will be Bolton - Gartside has been trying to make the PL a closed shop for selfish reasons. and Villa, a team who think they have a God-given right to be in the PL. Unlikely but possible.

I'd like Blackburn to stay up for Steve Kean's sake, he's taken an undeserved bucketload and I'd love him to keep them up and then tell Venky's to shove their job up their arses sideways.

Wigan deserve to stay up for keeping the faith in Martinez and playing decent football on one of the tightest budgets in the PL.

We deserve to stay up because everything that could have gone wrong has and we're still battling away cos we are the Rrrrrrrs...

You've got yellow grass? Man that hosepipe ban takes it's toll quickly!

What V.Persil did was out of order! He took the piss there against a team down to ten men and facing the drop. I hope someone from Wigan clatters him at the weekend.

Great player but an absolute ****, a bit like Henry. Seems to be an Arsenal trait

Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Birmingham lose the play off final.

Sadly i think this is now mathematically impossible only because West Brom and Aston Villa have to play and one of them may escape over Blackburn but i will check this out

Why? .... Morris Ital, Austin Princess, TR7 Rover 200/800 Triumph Aclaim, Jasper Carrot, Frank Skinner, Adrian Charles

Come on Yowl Blues

You'll love this trip down memory lane then Dave:

Of the group of five I would prefer Wigan to stay up with us, but don't really care. Unfortunately Norwich are already safe, but we can hope for a really bad end of season which continues into 2012-13, Lambert poached by some other club who want a dull utilitarian approach.
But next year will be great for us. We will be better than the 3 promoted teams, Wigan/Bolton, Swansea, Norwich, Villa, Stoke ( their run in the Prem has gone on too long, the fans have had enough of Pulis), WBA, Fulham. Fully expect us to be in the Everton, Sunderland, Newcastle group, which could also include Liverpool and Chelsea, fighting for 5 th - 8 th.

A few more points added to our pile would help me to fully appreciate the beauty of the picture you paint SB

I can't see Newcastle being in that group. I think they are a genuine top 4 contender now and the experience will mould them. They will finish 4th-6th (4th or 5th IMO) so the European games will drain them a little but I think they'll add to the squad and give Pardew the funds he needs.

As for Chelsea, in the same bracket as Spurs and Arsenal. I think RA will spend but a lot depends on where we finish as the club is a mess at the minute.

Pardew has done a great job this year but there is something fragile about the Toon. Dont underestimate the extent of the rebuild that you have to do - will the Russian really have the patience to let whoever your new manager is do what needs to be done and grow a new team........but agree that you will think you are a top 4 team, and Newcastle may have the ambition. Then again so did Liverpool at the beginning of this season.

I think a lot of this speculation about other teams is premature - we've still got work to do and wishing relegation on others is bad karma. Except Villa, who need the catharsis of relegation and are supported by David Cameron, who needs to get in touch with the working class.

Wow, that's amazing. A couple of decent wins and we're talking about challenging for Europe next season already. Reality check please guys - take another look at the table and fixtures before planning your Premier League itenerary for 2012/13. Hopefully we can take up this topic again on May 14th.
