Police used to be a very different kind of force. Now they don't recruit the best, they recruit who'll follow orders and not ask questions and have become kind of corporatised.

Reminds me of a case in the US a few years back where the supreme court said police forces can exclude candidates if they are too intelligent. <yikes> Apparently one such candidate was told he scored too high, took them to court and lost

They need good obedient workers incapable of critical thinking.... Works a treat

Why would they want police realising because of thy intelligence that most of the laws being applied against citizens are not helping society but arehhelping the corporate world and filthy wealthy get away with murder.... Literally
