I was born to a Scottish father and English mother during the early 1920s, in London
By my mid-teens I had already toured Canada with an entertainment party and appeared in a film
I served with the Canadian RAF during WW2, and it was in North America that I met my wife
I lost £250,000 in an attempt to sue a broadcasting corporation, and I had four granddaughters I never knew

With Irish ancestry, I was born in Berkshire during the early 1930s
I took elocution lessons and worked as an assistant stage manager before daring to take on an acting role
Laurence Olivier was an advocate of mine, and I appeared with the likes of Kenneth Williams, Christopher Plummer and Ralph Richardson
I played a famous sleuth on TV for five years, and won a BAFTA for my performance in a TV serial from the early 90s

An only child, I was born in the north of England during the later part of the 19th century
After leaving school I worked as rent collector, but in the evenings I took art lessons, particularly freehand drawing
My paintings sell for millions, and a gallery was opened in my honour at a cost of over £100 million
A mostly solitary person, I did enjoy attending football matches and my local pub, where a statue of me now stands

Hughie Green
Geraldine McEwan
L.S.Lowry

All turned down honours from the Queen.

I'm actually welling up here with the chart of charts, it is like saying I'm the god of gods. I may change my name to Zeus, even though he wasn't technically god of gods<ok>
