I haven't seen anywhere here anyone saying we will walk the league. Then you go on an bleat about having no striker, what you on about jealousy running deep? The thread was created by a Swan and it is based on current squads only. Some have been less than complimentary about Swansea because your form in the second half of the season was relegation form. If that carries over into the next season you will struggle especially with European games to deal with as well.
Most have been realistic about our chances in the premier league and we all recognise both clubs need to buy for different reason.
If you want to discuss what other players think of the Swans and Cardiff create a thread about it, so to avoid any confusion, based on current squads Swansea would struggle a bit bit because of the European adventure they are about to embark on and good luck with that. Cardiff will be safe but it will be a long hard season.
Now when we both get our new signings in then another thread can be created to deal with those predictions.
Neutral visiting - who sincerely hopes you both survive as I think the Welsh presence is really refreshing in the Premier League.
Think your post is one of the fairest and most balanced on this thread. There are rumours that the Swans are after Lukaku on a season long loan - if they get him (and also strengthen in other areas and in depth generally) then I think they could be in for a very interesting season indeed. If they are not able to strengthen then opposing teams will be better placed to combat the previously 'unknown' successes of last season. I actually think the European campaign may aid Laudrup's recruitment.
For Cardiff _ I think you have a really astute young manager who will already have identified the areas that will need to be strengthened - think you need a real goal scorer - I love Bellamy (accept that he's a bit of a **** as a human being - but if he's in your team you just have to love his passion and winning mentality) - but you'll need more than him - and you need to get someone far better than the likes of your previous strikers - Bothroyd etc.
Good luck you both
