personally I think Bellamy is a gr8 player and with his philanthropy work he is a player some young players should look up to. (I am going to plug kiva if anyone wants to assist in a minor way, I have made my 27th loan and just keep reinvesting my money once it is paid back)

no one has defaulted on me swamp hence my 27 loans, yes 25 us a time but I simply reinvest once the loans or any cash I receive back

JH might like to invest as well however I doubt it, however anyone interested pls visit the site Swamp has displayed

I think that is more than a little unfair. People see the snarling face, but don't look any deeper than that. See if this changes your view.

His money, and as importantly, his time. Most people don't hear about him spending Christmas day with his family in Sierra Leone, handing out presents to the people in his accademy.

Good for him. Nice to see him sharing some of the benefits of his overseas tax dodge...sorry meant foundation.

which I had a tax dodge for it, just made my 30th loan, anyone interested pm me your email addy for a $25 free loan from Kiva

Positive comments as always swim. Suggests a very shallow mind. Hey ho.

Much better a Bellamy giving something genrously and freely than ripping somone off.

As for a tax dodge, it suggests he gets something financially in return, which he doesn't. It's not an offshore bank account. Also, he doesn't get any financial benefit from spending time in Sierra Leone. I'm sure he takes a great deal of spiritual benefit though. Good for him.

Revised bottom 3

Swansea
Norwich
Palace

Palace no Zaha , Murray out for months - will take a miracle to stay up.

Hilts haven't you told us we are going down each year running? First season we weren't good enough, last year it was second season syndrome, what's this years reason? Give it up dude, it's just not happening <laugh>
In fact since the hull game 10 years ago, im pretty sure we have finished in a higher position every year bar 1. Why would we now suddenly struggle? We're a team on the up and will continue to rise.
All 3 promoted teams will do well to stay up in my opinion.

"Why would we now suddenly struggle"...................like most of us smaller clubs we have no divine right in staying up,so yeah you got the same chance as any in having bad luck and confidence dips>>>>>>>>>your end of season finish didn't inspire really did it.....but you had a great first half and got the important gap needed,,,,,,but does that mean anything for next season>>>not really.

but for both sets of fans it truly is out of out hands....so wait and see methinks, the proof is always in thy pudding.

Yeah and if you stay up i'll probably tip you for relegation the season after.<laugh>

The reason im tipping you. Finished the season in relegation form. The PLs smallest club. Extra games due to europe plus your strikers are all useless. (i count Michu as a AM)

A few decent signings and I may change my prediction.

One of their own created this thread and they still can't read it!
The swans current team based on todays squad, where will you finish next season?
Based on the above I predict you will struggle because of the reasons Hilts gave above.
With our current team I think we will stay up but it will be a tough season.

It seems to be only Cardiff fans and dai that are convinced we were so poor in the second half of the season. We picked up 21 points in the second half, you guys would do very well to repeat our apparent relegation form.
As for the squads right now, did any of your players manage to get into double figures for the season? Yet you think it's our strikers that are useless? <Laugh>
Our squad today based on your squad today, absolutely no contest. If you exclude the top 7 teams down to Liverpool, then we came second in the mini league, won a cup and picked up 21 points in our bad patch. Relegation doesn't even enter the equation.

2nd in the mini league is that like the mini cup <laugh>.........classic >s.h.i.t that fairplay <laugh>

When you've come close to achieving that then you can give it large. On the thread topic I can't see us going backwards - Laudrup won't allow that, so consolidation in mid-table. Make the right signings and we could even get top 8.

You were Champions in a rubbish League last season (see the playoff final today for evidence of that - the worse ever and it involved two teams who scored more than you did) and unless you spend really big you'll struggle. Do that and you have a chance.

Just an opinion and like you I've been wrong before.<ok>

KJ/swan-m, you really are not getting it are you. It's about the teams now and playing next year with the same team. Go speak with musty for clarification.
No players score over eight goals but we go up as champions, yeah that's poor! On your own board a lot of you guys are saying your second half of the season was poor not just Dai, we do read your boards as well, mainly for the infighting but sometime you chat about footy.

Knackered

by top 8 you presumably mean 8th, as you finished 15 points off 7th. you have clearly been led into a false sense of security - let me remind you that you finished 7 points ahead of sunderland in 17th, trust me knackered thats nothing to boast about.

you talk about a rubbish championship, but where did the 3 teams that came down finish? none in the top 6. last years PL was one of the worst in years, draw a line beneath liverpool and thats the league we'll be competing in, and very few of the teams there scare me at all.
