    No they would not!

You are seriously underestimating the Premier League, if you could keep exactly the same squad with no additions, you would go down.

    Safc!
How can you be so certain this wouldn't be the case. We were Championship winners and held that place since early November without relinquishing the top spot. Maybe you underestimate us? Like Taff has said we are expecting a tough season ahead and are far from complacent but confident. There is money to spend and Malky will tweek what we have and make us stronger. Thanks for Frazier by the way.<ok>

Do be fair Safc has a point, without a few new faces we could struggle but I think Malky will get more than a few new players in.

Not underestimating the premier league at all. It's going to be extremely tough but we have players that play for each other and give 100% every game. This along with MM and his team motivating them will see us survive.

Wrong. Rhondda & Safc are both correct. You won a poor League and you know it. Keep the same players without any signings and you'll struggle. You will strengthen though and if you get the right players you may do alright. Depends who you get.

Why do you say it was a poor league oh knackered one? You could equally say you came 10th in a poor league. Next season will be different in both. You'll change players as will we and the other 18 teams in the league. Several will also change manager, so it's all change.

You'll need more than that buddy - first thing to fix is strikers - you'll need somebody that can notch close to twenty IMHO - chances need to be converted in the Prem as you get fewer and those playing against you tend to convert theirs. As posted earlier - I really hope you do it - but the striker is key.

Fosse, yes we do need a 20+ goal scorer but we haven't seen Maynard all season and we've only seen Campbell since January. Hopefully both can be a bit more injury free to head the attack but a guaranteed return of 20+ goals striker is going to be difficult to find.

I think palace and hull are goners already, 11 teams fighting not to be relegated, top 7 to be the same

Palace will find it tough no doubt ... but Steve Bruce is experienced at Prem level and the Allams will back him - I could see them surviving ... Palace, Norwich and West Brom (without Lukaku) would be mt prediction right now ... (that assumes that Malky stays with Cardiff and doesn't take the Everton job - and I'm not attempting any kind of wind up here).

ours was not exactly strong was it. anyone from 9th to bottom could have been relegated 6 or so games left..we got lucky that there were more **** teams than us, there will only be half a dozen big teams that wont be in the relegation battle the rest of us will be fighting to stay in the league....

It's a sad fact but your right there Dai, outside of ManU, Manc, Gooners, Spurs, Chelsea and maybe Liverpool we are all fighting to get above 18th, there are a few like Everton, WHU, WBA and the Swans who could fight for 7-10 place but it all depends on what happens between now and the start of the season, to lose one of your top players could hurt but to get a top signing may help.

With talk of Liverpool loosing Dracula and so many new managers who knows ?

there are only 38 games in the premiership and everyone is hard to predict. cardiff has the element of the unknown in the first half of the season and must try and use it to your advantage like we did and past teams like Blackpool, and others, Blackpool were in the top 8 at one point but they sank like a stone in the second half of the season because they were to complacent and thought they did not have to strengthen for the second half and were promptly relegated...Its a good league to be in for money but the championship is the best league for entertainment......watch out for away clubs trying to rip you off with their ticket prices......Arsenal's was £62 last season.....way over the top...

Well, we will finish 16th so thats Cardiff and Hull to BOTH stay up.

Sunderland sold there best goalscorer to Cardiff And FC Will score goals in the premier league..

Palace / Sunderland / Villa / Newcastle / Norwich 3 out of those will go down.

The Tigers and Cardiff are staying up

I tend to agree Dai - there wasn't much between 8th and 16th really.

Hope your right, the Prem needs teams like Cardiff & Hull to do well, both have good support. Swansea (though I hate to say it) have shown that we can break into the top league big time, I think we both need to get a few more class players but don't need to fear anyone, maybe we won't get many points from the top 5 but there is plenty available elsewhere.
