In a year or two when the Swans go back down, they'll all be back in Liverpool shirts <ok>

    Billy!
It's called reluctant acceptance for many. No change no investment. Faced with the same dilemna Leeds fans would do likewise, in fact they may soon be in a similar position.

By the way, haven't Leeds changed their name, kit colour, their badge, sold their ground and changed their nickname throughout their existance? Do you feel Leeds have sold out?

    So...

Are you not going to change the Not 606 layout for your new club?

Our club colours, blue, yellow and white, have always been the same, and our badge has changed the way every club's badge has. Before the white kit was introduced we had never had an established home kit.

I think some of you are being deliberately difficult when it comes to us, as there's clearly a big difference in what happens.

Also, in my experience at least, changing to red will make **** all difference to your brand in East Asia.

Leeds used to be know as the peacocks.

Over the years you have changed your kit, badge & knickname.

Learn your history before spouting about ours. <doh>

"The Peacocks" is still one of our nicknames as it is to do with Elland Road's old name. Our kit changes have been the equivalent of you changing from blue shirts and white shorts to white shirts and blue shorts. We traditionally as a club have never been particularly attached to any particular badge as long as it's blue, white and yellow.

My experience is having spent the last year living with Malaysians who all happen to support Chelsea or Citeh.

as you said billy, do man city fans care that they are effectively 'abu dhabi fc'? i doubt it.

rather than lecturing us all on whats right and wrong, perhaps you could come up with an alternative, some way of turning the finances round at a club losing £1m a month? and no, i'd rather not go down the leeds / swansea administration 10p in the pound route......<ok>

Super Kenny, I'm not lecturing you, just saying its damn rubbish that your owner can change your club colours so drastically. Imagine Man Utd changing to Sky Blue, or Liverpool to Royal Blue. Utter farce!!! The way he's done it as well stinks!! To actually threaten the fans with no investment if he doesn't get his way is really crap. Sorry, this starts to open all sorts of doors for future potential "investors" in football clubs. So what next, name change? Move to Swansea? It is bloody shameful!! Does Tan really believe that he is going to sell millions of shirts in Asia? Rubbish!! I am not knocking Cardiff City or its fans, I am having a dig at Tan for this disgraceful move!!!! It is not right to manipulate a club this way. Would you like to be called Red Dragons in two years time?

Are Cardiff offering to pay off exactly what they owe then???

way I read it they are trying to make a 'deal' to pay off less than they owe and considering you owe £70mil it looks like Cardiff will be ducking far more than Swansea ever did

Nobody here seems to want to raise a single voice of protest at this. How do you honestly feel about the fact that your owner held a gun to your head? You can debate the changes all day, but that's what would rankle with me as it shows them for what they are - Asian speculators who don't give a fig about the real Club behind the facts and figures, its history and traditions, or more importantly its fans.
