I grew up down Kimberley Street, the street came under compulsory purchase back in about 1976, I lived there from 1965, I'd love to see some photos from that era but can never seem to find any. If anyone can find any I'd be chuffed to bits.
Cheers Charon. That's 'little' Kimberley street, which is still there, although the houses obviously aren't. The give away is the entrance to the railway yard and the tops of the trees in Hymers. I actually lived down the street opposite, 'big' Kimberley Street, which is no longer there at all.You must log in or register to see images

lived at no 68 Argyle street from 1955 till 1966 then moved up to OPE, loved it around Argyle st, had some great mate's and memories the old man also had one of those allotments at the end of Gladstone street.http://hullphotos.co.uk/images/5-westnorthhull/argyle/19n44.html
