Totally agree with this, when I first joined in the beginning 2010, it was the Celtic lads that joined Mick as a banter point due to the moderation of the old 606. The Rangers and Aberdeen lads followed but it was always run like a GC board, anything goes, keep it sweet but keep it interesting. When the 606 was announced to be closes, Mick saw the deal and went for it, there was a massive influx of posters, I think he went through 3 new servers in the first 6 months. I hit the site to Syd Hutch as I thought our lot would head over and they did, the site had zero moderation so Mick quickly wanted to bring in a senior mod for all the site, had a bit of dialogue with Syd and the rest is history..

I think the reason the site is bellowing now is simply because people have met on here in the real world, people have overdone the group hugs and statements ( hence why I pulled my post on the 'Depression' thread the other night @Safc83,) I should never have done that public, my family affairs should stay between us.

There's some good lads on here but too many easily offended, I wouldn't think twice of walking in the Paradise, seeing you mugs and saying 'Now then, you bunch of ugly ****ers', saying it on here seems to be a blue touch paper for what ever reason.

Keep it simple on here is my suggestion and I will be doing it, there's PM for the other stuff but people want simplicity when they login to chill after a few beers. I have been a culprit of the heavy stuff but no more..

Still a great board and sound lads, a different variety but all connected in our great club..<ok>

No problem calling me an ugly ****. We've an established friendship, a mutual respect, it's exactly the same in life for me. Any ****er who's going to pursue me for years, taking the piss with without that established foundation of respect is never ever going to get anywhere with me. I wish them the best but I won't be crossing the road for out to do with them or giving them an ounce of respect back, civil will be the best they'll ever get from.

Don't buy the club connection personally. There's lads from other boards and who support other clubs I'd walk over hot coals before lifting a finger for some Sunderland fans. Club make a person does not for me fella.

Not me either but it is a common ground for starters. Some of the best people I have met, have been on matchdays, total strangers from all walks of life. Some of the most belligerent ****ers I have met on match days too but they will remember me. This place has a mix of allsorts, a bit like canned laughter, sounds false, repetitive and annoying..<ok>

I know what you mean mate, and same here, but gigs have done it just as much. I think crowds with a common interest draw more than the norm in the amount of characters out. When you stumble across them it's great. Can transform a day out totally.

Thank you fella. You and your ladies too good sir. Be giving me a holla when you can get to a match :)

Nail right on the head.

Absolutely..<ok>

Got to be honest, Corbyn for all his sins is such an honest bloke, looks like a drunk, squints like a drunk but you get the real person. Boris Johnson who whinged today about the fanfare on BBC last night and a children's playground comment, yet he did the same thing 48 hours earlier on TV before the Sky debate, it should be easy to promote Labour with these clowns.

May for me is well and truly ****ed, been sussed for what she is, she would be better handing over to Rudd the day before the election. The EU top brass will have a field day with the Thatcher wannabe, way out of her depth and that record she loves to speak of, proves it so..

When this election was called, we were going with May but in life you are only as good as your last job. Postal votes, both for Labour..<ok>

I'm a member of the labour party who does not want Corbyn as leader. However I have to say he has performed way above my expectations in this campaign, and I do love a lot of the ideas in the manifesto. Abbott on the other hand has been an utter liability and I wish that someone would lock her away until after the election..

Abbot is the achilles heel, have to choose my words wisely here but basically she is a major minus. Really surprised the right wing press and Tory campaign managers haven't had a field day with her. Still, with May there's enough to fill the pages..<ok>
