@ElfsborgAddick

If we get to the Wembley final of the EFL trophy, would you fly back for the final ?

I wouldn't go to the Final of the EFL Trophy and I only live about 5 miles away.
Imagine the posturing and preening of those shysters in the board room if we somehow got to the Final of the Worthless Trophy.
And all the gushings of the Apologists on you-know-where.

Frankly I don't even give a slap about the FA Cup (a proper trophy).
Charlton Athletic should have one target from now until it is achieved;
Promotion back to the Championship.

PS: I know your question to Elfs was mainly in jest.
We aren't making it to any Finals this season.

Very disappointing developments overnight on our smaller sister forum ITTV, where a new thread has been started mocking @ElfsborgAddick for his dwarfism and poor dress sense :emoticon-0106-cryin

Say what you like about Elfs - and most people have over the years - but he’s a true Charlton midget.

To my certain knowledge, we have had three highly toxic and useless individuals running our club in recent years -

Richard Murray
Katrien Meire
Charles Methven

And it’s only Ahadme’s best mate from Wrexham who has sold out, and taken a free prawn sandwich off all three of them :emoticon-0148-yes:

Global is right about one thing tbf, that coat is absolutely hideous.

Elfs bought it in TK Maxx in Bromley for £3.

That coat cost more than Ivor's wardrobe.
I still have it, although it's left in my other property in Sweden.

Anyone remember that day when Global had to make a face-to-face apology to KM? <laugh>
Sadly nobody seems to have snapped that on their mobile.
Here's an artist's impression...

Pity, was surely a good opportunity for a selfie.
More power to the Elf :emoticon-0165-muscl He knows how to give deserved stick without crossing the line :emoticon-0172-mooni

Not quite right.

Global met Katrien when we played Cardiff away.

The pic of the two of them was memorable for the greasy kebab stains on Reams’ T shirt <cheers>

Looking back at Global’s turbulent relationship with recent CAFC owners, I think my favourite “classic” was when Sandgaard took over.

The Voice of the People puffed his chest out (as far as digesting an extra large Doner would allow), and started a thread along the lines of ‘we will have some ups & downs under “Thomas”, but ITTV (ie my brown nose) is right behind him and even when we lose, I won’t tolerate moaning on here’

Fast forward two months, and the wheels have come off the Sandgaard bandwagon.

Cue Reams, and multiple…

“Sandgaard you cvunt, I’ll personally drive you back to Colorado” threads <whistle>

Can we have an explanation from a Wally Life Grandee, none other than Sound As A Pound your mate @Mr Sitter , on what is meant by this?

Roland Out Forever ?

What do the Bovril slurping, Everlast kagool models mean by this ridiculous statement ?

“Roland Out Forever” still owns the Valley, Sparrows Lane, and has sold the footballing side on to a motley collection of bums who have taken the club to ever lower depths.

“Roland Out Forever” has turned out to be by far our best owner since 2006, regardless of what the Badly Dressed Crew elsewhere claim.

Where did he post this?

He didn’t.

But he’s a Charlton Life grandee, and I know you speak regularly . Can you ask him how they got Roland out forever please <cheers>

Yes, come on Elfs - tell those clowns on CL what a great bloke Roland really is, and how he's done such wonderful things for the Club :emoticon-0172-mooni
We owe him everything - literally <laugh>
