I see there was just the one giant killing in the Europa league last night, with a struggling minnow pulling off a surprise victory against established European royalty.

Nobody could have predicted Tottenham Hotspur would beat Elfsborg.

 

Spurs fans are the gift that keeps giving.
Listening to them on the radio this morning, you'd have thought they had already won a European Trophy.
Waxing on about their wonder teenagers.

When Brentford beat them this weekend they'll all be wailing and gnashing again.

 

Absolutely devastated.

For a club the size of Elfsborg, to get to the last round of games and be in a strong position to qualify to the next stage was unbelievable. What was hard to swallow was five results went against us to put us out
