Went in the Hare and Billet last weekend - £9.20 for a glass of wine and £7 for a pint ! I didn’t stay long after our meal

A long story, but I got arrested once outside that pub, and fined £2 for being "Drunk outside the Hare and Billet" (as it said on the charge sheet) at Greenwich Magistrate's Court. It used to be good drinking outside it until the locals put an end to that and I stopped using it.

Absolute ridiculous, the taffs will sell out, we had 16,000 for the Birmingham game, this will be a similar gate.

16000 tickets have already been sold. So it will be more than that. But even though you might get some interest from the casual supporter. No way will it be anywhere near a sell out.

Charlton’s game against Wrexham on Saturday, October 26th is set to see a bumper crowd in attendance at The Valley.

Sales for the match have already reached 16,000 - with some areas close to selling out - and a crowd of over 20,000 are expected in SE7 for what promises to be a huge occasion.

With tickets set to go on priority sale once the away end sells out, supporters who aren’t on the club’s database are advised to purchase their tickets as soon as possible to ensure they don't miss out.

Once the tickets go on priority sale, only fans on the club’s database at the time the away end sold out will be able to purchase tickets.

Charlton CEO Charlie Methven said: “We experienced a fantastic atmosphere here at The Valley on Saturday, with a superb team performance to match. It had a big game feel and in conversations I’ve had since a number of long-serving supporters and staff have said it was their most enjoyable game at The Valley for a few years.

“We’re expecting a considerably bigger home support for our upcoming game against Wrexham and wanted to make sure all fans have the opportunity to purchase their ticket for the game before it goes on priority sale.”
