Whereabouts in Bogota? I used to live 147 and a street up from the Novena, 21 I think. Over 20 years ago now so memory a bit hazy! Travelled all over Colombia, amazing country.

cr 11 69-36 . nice old area, 3 blocks from banking area where most of my business comes from (gastro pub). 147 maybe has changed alot, some really big ass apartment blocks are there now and traffic is a nightmare

Bognor Regis (Aldwick) to be precise orinally
School in Chichester
Bristol Poly University
Now North London near Wood Green (ghetto)

You and me are neighbours jonny.

I lived in Wood Green back in the day, but escaped to Muswell Hill in 1992. The air is fresher up here - quite nice if you don't mind being surrounded by gooners.

How many moons? Enough to remember ***ins, and The Nightingale?

About 16 years ago, remember the big pub on the corner opposite Wetherspoons and the Cinema complex across the road. Was there waiting for a bus on a Saturday afternoon when there was a riot and a young lad was shot outside of the Odeon. Chaos to say the least! Not a good neighbourhood, gangs of feral youths roaming about late at night. Lovely place lol

Yeah, it's a bit lively at times, lol.
Always was rough as all **** - why I moved out (well, the ex missus insisted really).

That pub was the Nags Head btw - called something else now, the Goose and Granite I think. Used to do cheap doubles, the foulest tasting gin or vodka imaginable, for about a quid..

I used to live in Wood Green many moons ago, yep proper ghetto! lol

Used to have a few mates who lived on A block (Aylesbury estate) back in the day. Not a nice place to walk around during the day let alone at night , I don't think the police sirens ever stopped !

So, you're a Muswell Hillbilly, Archers, ever bumped into Ray or Dave?

I do see Ray from time to time. I used to deliver the post to Konk recording studio, when I was a postman in Crouch End. Brian Eno had a flat on my walk as well, and Dave Vanian (The Damned). Vanian has a hearse parked on his front lawn for a while.

One occasion a few years ago, I was driving a minibus full of Polish contractors through Highgate Village. Ray was bowling across the zebra crossing outside The Flask, so I waved and he waved back (he doesn't know me from Adam). Elated, I turned to the Polish guys in the front with me and said "hey, that's Ray Davies!"

Got some blank looks and a "who da **** Ray Davies?"
