Whereabouts in Bogota? I used to live 147 and a street up from the Novena, 21 I think. Over 20 years ago now so memory a bit hazy! Travelled all over Colombia, amazing country.
Born in Southsea, Moved to Bitterne when 3. Wales then London when 21/22. Then back to various parts of Southampton till 29... Lowford for 3 years, Salisbury Green for 23 years and have been in Durley for the past 12.. and love it!
Born in Tilshead, a village a couple of miles from orcheston where mick channon was born. Moved up to a village near Whitby when I was ten. All my mums side of family are from/still live in romsey, Winchester, and surrounding villages

Jolly Sailor was very occasional... Used to frequent The Vine. But both working, with baby/toddler restricted pub time in those days..

Being a Londoner it always amazes me how many people in Southampton now have a half cockney accent the same with Portsmouth but you go to Bournemouth and they all sound like farmers never understood that.
Had a nice place in west byfleet few years back , but to quiet for me though. Nice area though.

Portsmouth has always had an accent different to the rest of Hampshire.....perhaps due to the mixed population with the Royal Navy being there since Tudor times or earlier. I was always being asked if I was a Londoner.
