This is a serious question to some of the contributors to this forum.

I can fully understand bad feelings towards the corporate side of things.

But it seems to have boiled over so that "fans" are slagging off our players and coaches and managers - you know, the football side of things - before they have even kicked a ball in anger for the club.

That is pathetic.

Last year, the team was backed most of the time while Bates and his cronies were vilified. But at times, the fans turned on the players. And now we have a new manager that is in hs first transfer window, we have had a lot of incomings and only 3 going out (Snoddy expected, Clayton a shock transfer listing, Lonergan for his family) and the keyboard is being hammered by the anti-LUFCsupporters.

Some of you need to take a long hard look at yourselves in the mirror and decide whether you really are a supporter of Leeds United, or whether you are just a fairweather glory supporter who will only ever back the current players if it is shown that they are blowing away all opposition.

Just pisses me off mighty that because anyone DARE to have an opinion that differs from Elmo it means that they do not support the club. As for the fairweather glory comment - I wouldn't mind if there had been much glory to cheer about over recent seasons <ok>

I guess Elmo has got fed up with "shaping up very nicely" and "looking much more solid" threads so now because half the forum disagrees with he/she wishes to question those fans loyalty.

You've not written anything remotely positive about our new players yet. You've spent most of your time slagging them off. I suggest you look at your last few weeks posts.

I won't denigrate myself by falling so low as to respond to your personal insults, I'll leave that to those in the gutter
 
Got to say Ristac your'e one of the more negative posters on this board and calling him a prick because he asks for people to support the manager and squad says it all really. Thankfully this board has more positive posters than negative unlike JA606 where after a read my first job is to ring the samaritans. <steam>

I might seem a negative poster but if you care to search my posts I assure you there are plenty of positive ones. It is like me saying to Elmo you are one of the most positive posters and you are building your expectations up too highly, nobody knows, we share opinions negative or positive. At least I give a reason for a negative feel, we have sold our best two players and replaced them with players who finished below us in the league. Varney better than Snodgrass and Green or Norris better than Clayton? Do you believe they are better, even if equal it isn't an improvement.

Please get your FACTS right about why I called Elmo a prick - Because he says any negative supporter is a supporter who has stopped supporting the team and that they are a fairweather glory supporter, I have never heard such nonsense.
