It will cost Bates money in what he can sell us for...

It will make it more unlikely that we will be bought out by American owners (who saddle us with the debt)...

It mean we have to play 5/6 local derbies each season...

It will leave us almost debt free, once the fair play rules kick in...

So using the logic that it could be a good thing, we can only cock it up and get into the Premiership (after all we are Leeds).
 
Good grief Marko, you talk such tripe! A plan to put us into admin and strip us of assets? Clearly you don't understand business or economics. I am starting to believe you are not a Leeds supporter but rather a stirrer hiding under a Leeds fan moniker. How do you come up with this nonsense? Leeds going into admin would hurt Bates, not make him rich you crap spouting fool.

Not if he has taken out as much cash as he planned to and at that point wants to complete his vow to have Leeds kicked out of the Football League.
 
No hate, just sense. Marko's comment makes no sense at all. We all love Leeds, so I love everyone who supports our great club. Marko is starting to sound like that Wendy who almost had a coronary in the comments column at the Star.
 
I'm feeling a relegation battle coming on with or without Warnock. Even big spending Leicester couldn't form a team from nothing & Warnock has to do that with scraps?

Could be a long season. Or Bates could go against the grain and actually follow through with his promise to Back Warnock. As a man who likes a flutter you tend to check past records before placing a bet and its not looking a banker for us to go up right now, is it?

The backing should and would have been there by now if Bates was going to do it, so ****ing pissed off with it all, can't actually believe Warnock has failed to get anywhere near his 3-4 players and we have White saying he prefers Leeds, Snoddy saying show ambition it's all going to end in tears. I just hope if Warnock walks he slams Bates for what he is and speaks out as loud as he possibly can.

The question remains why hasnt he walked yet? He openly said if he had 1mil to spend he would be looking at bringing in 5 players not one which indicates he knows what he is up against. Doesnt sound like he is confident of getting the backing he was promised so whats that all about?

Either he's waiting for Bates to pull his finger out his arse and give him something to work with, or it's simply his pride getting in the way and he's refusing to leave simply because of that.

Unfortunately I think it's the second one...
 
To me the players who haven't signed for us, all the signs are there. They are all saying the same thing. "Show us you want us to play for you as much as we want to play for you", and the "club" is refusing on all fronts.
 
We will have a team come Aug 18. It won't be good though.

We will still have the ever-happy brigade telling us this is the season because we have the Messiah and his dad here, and we may flatter to deceiveattimes, but ristac is cracking already, juststrach and eire and whitejock to go and we may as well join the Davidians and have a siege at ER

Either way, check out motforum. there's a bloke on there called white riot, he is fully delusional and genuinely believes ken is running the club well. Will put down anyone as "impatient" or "stupid" for not agreeing and won't acknowledge how the facts say the exact opposite.

Far worse than anyone we've got on here.
