Ok so the deed has been done. Whether we agree with it or not, we can't change it now.

We all know the problems at board level and it seems we can't do much about that either. So, where do we go from here? Your answers require positivity please.

This is our club and we should at least be persistent in airing what we want for the FUTURE. Let's no dessert the ship just yet... we've been through worse.

Only joking clingo, but the most positive thing about today is that Bulut has gone. He never fitted in for me - just too dogmatic and pedestrian in his approach for what is a highly competitve Championship competition. No flair, no inspiration, mystifying team selections, the lack of action on the hoof to change things during a game when things were obviously not right.

Glad he's gone but that doesn't address your question I know.

I think we should take a leaf out of recent successful appointments at this level. Go for an ambitious assistant manager from the Prem like McKenna at Ipswich and Carrick at Middlesbrough. At a higher level, Arteta and Maresca have shown there's real talent waiting for a chance to show what they can do.

We've tried the old war horses like Warnock and McCarthy, and inexperienced new kids on the block like Morison and Hudson.

It's nigh impossible to see through the fog that pervades the club's decision making process, but hopefully lessons have been learned - but I won't hold my breath.

It’s costing them a fuggin’ fortune, a two year contract after conceding nine goals in the last two games of his old contract. Why not a one year contract if he really wanted the job....suspect business man is Tan? It’s similar to politics, care not for the people, and care not for the fans....put them through shiite!

Sounds about right with regard to a future appointment Sparkey. I'm sure Remote would agree that an experienced DoF should be found urgently so that they can lead the recruitment of the next manager.

Hopefully that'll be the case.

At least Riza's was an "attack" coach - perhaps he was stifled by a "defence" coach who always had the final say?
We could be about to find out, hopefully in a positive way. The attitude has to be forward thinking in all aspects and areas of the club.

Gutted.

He was doing a great job

Should've stuck with him.

His hands were tied by your board.

According to WoL, Schumacher is favourite.

Wouldn't be against that happening...

Had to laugh at Steve Morrison being on the list as well as Earnie :emoticon-0136-giggl

Wouldn't laugh too loud , he was in talks with Tan before Dalman produced Bulut...they decided to go with Bulut
