Notwithstanding I’m still fuming over the defensive substitutions at Bristol I totally agree replacing Riza for replacement sake is not the way forward so until and unless the consultants they’ve employed complete their research nothing is going to happen.Good morning nin.
I hear and share your frustration and to add to your ire, I'm going to say that I'm ready to cut the club a tiny amount of slack on this.
First of all Riza is four points from six and while I fully agree he made howlers at Bristol and made it worse by not acknowledging them, I can't imagine that he hasn't learnt from it all. One or two games is all I'm suggesting.
Secondly, your thoughts suggest that there is an ideal replacement available and ready to join. There's nothing more than speculation at the moment and even the names in that speculation are at best an improvement without being overwhelming.
Don't misunderstand me, if a new boss that is able to take us forward and is available, I'm all for bringing him in. If not, we should continue the current process on the assumption that Riza isn't the man. Basically what the club is doing anyway.
Probably over simplistic but it's how I see it.
My agitation is that this is taking too long but I suppose it’s better to be thorough than rush it.
