To Bri and Monty, two great posters on here, the forum is all the poorer for their absence imo, I hope they are both doing OK. and just building up for the start of the season.

Can't speak for other people but I'd guess Bri became tired of the pathetic personal attacks from certain Sunderland and many Mags.
I find it quite pathetic that people will post sanctimonious RIP threads about people they've never met then stick the boot into a thoroughly decent lad like Bri ....

Bri openly admitted he had certain issues but that didn't stop people attacking him, the Mods stood back and ignored it on the whole. Bri loved the forum, and made a big contribution for many years.
Anyone could see he'd eventually become tired of the endless shyte tbh. I left for a while for the same reasons. Allowing Comm to invite a bunch of tossers and Mags onto the board was a big mistake that ruined it ....
.... ironically it also killed the Mag board which looks like it will never recover.
That used to be one of the best boards but it's 'one man and his dogs' now, shame.

Thanks for your replies lads, I am pleased it is mainly my inability to read between the lines, plus a certain lack of technical know how at fault, and that both are indeed well. 
Bri is a big miss, Monty on the otherhand isnt.
sunderland are going up, will win the title with 95 points, every player will be great and Monty will be back soon as he has been after the prime minister job.
I think Bri was a combination of getting a bit bored and having stuff to do, hope he makes a return someday.
I was wondering about Bri for a while didn't know he was getting ****e threw at him always thought he was doing canny.
He's doing well for himself, looking in good fettle the last time I saw him at Wembley.
He's a cracking lad and really funny, very sharp sense of humour.
He has a plan to move abroad which is moving along.
Im friends with bri on facebook and he seems fine. Just keeping his head down i think, but this thread has made me realise i need to message him again.
