I don’t think Mick will get another job in football management. Seems to be expecting clubs like Villa and top end Championship clubs will give him a call. The reality is he has not kept up with the changes in the game and amibitious football clubs know it (the fact we were not even using sports science properly before this season should make most club owners think twice). He’d maybe take a job at a struggling Birmingham or a struggling Millwall, if he can swallow his pride and set his sights a little lower. I think his last two years at Ipswich are counting against him though, if he was that highly rated in this division, he would have been strongly linked to a job by now.
I know what you mean but I’m not so sure, not saying that he’s going to get a call from Villa or similar, but I think the general consensus from the football world is how good a job he did with little money. Tbh Paul Hursts start is only highlighting that.
