Scored three goals in august and has not scored since, sounds like a Slade signing, hope I am wrong ,but this sounds like another dud.Is this the best we can do I thought we were looking at a premier striker.

On the plus side. He's direct and pretty quick.

The negatives are obvious, we need a better option than Mason. Lets hope for all our sake he can be it.

I'm pretty disillusioned this morning. How Slade and Trollope can watch our previous home game then move Ralls from the centre is absolutely beyond me. TBH it's a ****ing joke. It'll take more than a failing Charlton striker to change that. Were Pilks and Gunnar injured? That's the only excuse for changing that midfield.

Didn't know about Pilks and Gunnar at the time but have read since they returned injured from international duty.

I actually thought we could get a result at Derby and said so in the prediction league thread, but after the way Slade set up the team I wished I hadn't. Having now watched the vids of the game, it was obvious that we were holding far too deep a line and without pace in midfield we would get nothing from the game.

This really has to stop. I don't know the answer but an obvious choice would get someone in charge who does - Slade clearly hasn't a clue.

Saturday had disaster written all over it from the moment the team sheet was handed out. Derby were always likely to be stronger than City so why not make an effort and play 4-5-1?

Slade is clueless.

4-4-2 - is he mad?

I know Gunners'n and Pilk'n were unavailable but to play Whitingham in the middle was just ridiculous.

Did he not see Ralls boss central midfield v Reading?

Mason. What the heck has happened there? He is so shot of confidence that he needs a spell at Bolton to sort himself out <whistle>

Ameobi. What a lightweight. Send him back to Newcastle for xmas.

Kennedy. Surely the lad deserves a chance from the off.

Back to Slade and Young and Trollop and Margetson. What a crock of the proverbial.

Tan get in Pearson now.

Slade's new game plan.............
I recognise chunks of that Sparkey. Must admit that 12 V and a few milli-amps was about my limit. Didn't like those big nasty voltages or currents.

Looks as good a game plan as we get today. However, having moved the NPN transistor on the positive side of he amplifier and seeing that it provides the expected gains, lets put it on the output side where it has failed to function previously.

bullshit I know but trying to identify a ralls analogy.

When Slade said they were after a striker with Premier League experience he tricked us. We didn't realise he meant the Scottish Premier League. <doh>

However, he seems a bit of a character who was liked by Charlton fans. As ever lets give him a chance and encouragement and see how he goes.

I see Macheda played for the under 21's and scored so he might be in contention as well for Saturday. <yikes>

Played and scored <laugh> You won't be surprised I'm glad he's on his way back. Hopefully the back surgery will finally let him get a run of games and the fitness that comes with it.

If he's able to stay fit (massive if) and is shown the sort of unwavering loyalty Mason has been he'll score goals.

I wish I knew Watt that all means.

If Watt sees this he should feel quite at ohm.
