Very true, some examples: posh, hand over fist, batten down the hatches, cut and run, loose cannon, high and dry, shake a leg ............

Good assessment. Makes me wish it was the 90's again tbh.
I actually wish time stopped still and we were still in the 90's. Awesome decade for so many reasons. Loved it.
**** off the eighties had some brilliant stuff
Well, in the 90s we had horse-drawn carriages and the only mobile phones we had were smoke signals generated by setting fire to the rubbish in the jigger![]()
I said jigger at work and they thought I was being rude![]()
Except music hit rock bottom in the 90s. Terrible decade for mainstream music at least.

True. Mainstream was shocking.
Underground was smashing it though, probably the best underground era tbh. Quite ironic considering the mainstream was probably the worst era![]()
So a bit like Manchester today?

People getting shot left, right and centre in that ****hole at the mo![]()

Really...? You planning a visit any time soon?![]()

[HASHTAG]#alleycat[/HASHTAG]Funnily enough re: the word ginnell I'm reading a Liverpool saga from the 50s and jigger isn't mentioned but ginnell is. It is so the scouse word: I've got a naughty lovely little jigger rabbit.[HASHTAG]#alleycat[/HASHTAG]
