since we have gone off on a tangent from the original request, my number 1 offerings are

Conception (assuming 40 weeks) - Rolling Stones, Its all over now
Birth - The Beatles, Ticket to ride
First City home game - Cliff Richard, We don't talk anymore.

Bloody hell, this takes me back ...

Conception - Oh dear, I would have to think of my mum in red feathers and a Hula Hula Skirt!
Birth - Hull lad David Whitfield's version of Answer Me, which replaced the same song by Frankie Laine, but much better done later, but not No.1, by Nat King Cole.

First (remembered) game: I had just turned 5 and we thrashed Doncaster Rovers 5-1 at Bootherry Park - my Granddad thought it a lucky omen and we often laughed about it when we got beat, hence the memory, although it had drifted for me! No1 was "Hoots Mon", by Lord Rockinghams' XI.
Aye, December 1958 which I only recently bothered to trace after being reminded of it by someone who did!
