I was told today off a new method..

Can off Coke, or anything you want, can bee beer also also, open on a baking tray, place chicken on top, obviously with can inside chicken, slow roast...Drink heats up, Flavours the bird, spillage goes into tray for gravy.

Sounds basic enuff,
That sounds worse than salt and ****ing olive oil tbh.

Who the **** told ya that <laugh>

You must be a whizz in the kitchen. Beer with chicken has been around for yonks ffs, But cola chicken is supposed to be nice..

Just cos you don't like the sound, or it's beyond you, don't always knock it.

Beer can chicken is a thing. Though I thought the cam was empty. May be wrong.

The only dish my first Mrs could cook when I married her - Pollo a la Coca Cola - she was Peruvian. Actually very nice. The Coca Cola gives a really nice flavour to the meat.

My mum used to do pork shoulder in Guinness.

Didn't like that either and it's hard to make pork where I don't like it.

Up in York for work. Had warm trout with potato cakes and cucumber salad - absolutely superb. Oh and the Yorkshire Sparkle is all right to!
