I'd that the finished article or is it about to be slow cooked?

Bit wet if it's finished, alternatively those meatballs will fall apart if it's still to be cooked.

Still to be cooked. The meatballs were browned quickly, no longer than a minute in the frying pan, so they’ll hold together, no problem. I’ve done this before bruv.

Doing a weird tea.

Pork schnitzel, chips, sautéed cabbage with bacon. Have also made made a batter and have deep fried some cauliflower florets. Also made some onion rings.

It looks a ****ing mess so far.

@Tootsie what do you do with the oil from your fryer when you change it?

Had a pizza and some chicken wings, pint on the side.

Very, very quickly as I was joined by a smiley couple (in fairness the place was packed so no objection to that as such) so I had to leave sharpish. Not in any mood at all for small talk.

Which is no big surprise given I hate the general public.

Added a bit of flour halfway through. I used home made stock so no need for artificial flavouring.

Pearl barley or some lentils will do the trick if you're slow cooking.

In the case of lamb, lentils are perfect. Pearl barley suits beef or chicken better.

Not Bisto though mate. <ok>
