i forgot about this last night. Think i may have overdone the garlic, as thats all i can taste this morning

I had an onion gravy to go with it.
 
Just marinaded some beef in soy, garlic, ginger, basil, cinnamon, fish sauce, pepper and tomato puree. Will stir fry it with shredded cabbage, carrot and broccoli and mix in some noodles. That's for the boy tonight.

I've got monk fish. Don't know how I'm going to cook it. Maybe fried in some Indian spices. Or I might tikka it and whack it in the oven. In fact, that's what I'll do.
 
Monk fish now tikkad. Yoghurt, lemon juice (got no limes), cumin, garam masala, cayenne pepper, turmeric, ginger, garlic, salt, little bit of tomato puree.
Good choice, grilled monkfish can take robust spices such as Indian. Probably would have gone route myself.
