Corned beef rissoles are a traditional dish made with corned beef, potatoes, and onions. They are usually served with a gravy or sauce.

One thing I've never got since I've lived in South Wales, the corned beef love in.

Rissoles, Corned Beef pasties, two things that are top of the food list down here.

Is the Argentina connection maybe?

I think it's just from when it was cheap years ago.
Call it what you will but corned beef and spam are very tasty because of their salt content and are fantastic on bread/muffins/barm/cob/call it what you like depending on where you are from.
Both can be eaten cold from the tin and both are just as tasty cooked such as corned beef in a tater hash or with onion and tomato on a sandwhich or spam in a fried fritter or with salad on a sandwhich.

Food of the Gods.

What time do you close the blackout curtains and get ready for a night in the air raid shelter?
