is the number of adverts on BRITISH television, that are either starring, fronted by or voiced over, by Americans. Do we not have any British stars/personalities who can do this. I just can't understand this fascination that people seem to have with all things American

Just try listening to BBC radio 4. Hardly an English voice to be heard.

If that's true, I'm afraid it's because market research companies are telling ad agencies that Americans are considered good spokespeople by the British public.

Brands generally don't make conscious choices to alienate their audience. Gillette aside. A **** ton of money goes into this kind of research.

Kind of sad the crap that De Niro will do these days. He'd probably do a juggling act at your kids birthday party if you offered him £50.

Aye, still sad to see though. One of the best actors on the planet dressed up like a twat to advertise Kia's or whatever it is.

Uber not going South of the M25 when you're at a festival 10 miles from home at midnight on a Saturday night is a tad irksome...

cyclist when they are almost on the lane divider, you pass them giving more room than you would a tank, and they still give you the finger. I have put a bike hangar on the back of my car so when the ****s give me the finger i do an emergency stop, crunch then ask for their details, as the must be blind not seeing that cat run in front of me, they are off like a shot when they think they will have to pay, its only an old bike rack 15 euros at most.

Middle lane hoggers annoy yhe **** out of me - went to Nottingham for work a couple of weeks ago - as work pay a kings ransom for fuel (56p per mile) I sit at 60 in cruise control as my car does 80 to the gallon at that speed!! The amount of DICKHEADS sitting in the middle lane going slower!!! FFS the left hand lane is for driving - unless the signs say so, the other lanes are for OVERTAKING!!!!

I regularly use Sainsbury's on Silksworth Lane.

Leaving the car park is a roundabout when the lanes lead strait over to 'The Range' or left into the car park or right to the garage.

Less than half of motorists seem to know the priority rules.
