Not seen any figures quoted despite the "improved offer" mentioned in the media/bloggs about Zohore - what was the first one and where do they get this information?
The argument that a substantial cash windfall from his sale would aleviate the club's FFP position would only hold water if the dosh was banked and not re-used. In that was the scenario, there are an awful lot of supporters (including me) who would become very disillusioned over the club's real ambition.
On the other hand, If Warnock sanctioned the sale to bankroll his promotion ambitions because he felt he had better options, then that's a different story.
It been said many times that every player has a price, but a genuine goalscorer albeit with only a brief history is going to attract interest from the monied clubs. No disrespect to Hull but I reckon there are those far better off who would join in the bidding if the club signalled they were prepared to talk.
The biggest worry would be the short term loss of credibility re our ambition - and also the prospect that Lambert would be retained............
