I thought the ‘stay woke’ thing originated with groups of African-Americans who erroneously believe they’re descended from Egyptian pharaohs and loads of other conspiracy theories. Hoteps I think they’re called.

This is hilarious. There's never been any hard evidence that anyone has identified as a cat or any other animal, no-one has ever found a school where it's happened. Do you honestly believe that, because I'd really worry about you if you did. The other examples of 'cancelled' so far are a superannuated comic who can't get gigs because no-one wants to book a racist any more, which is the operation of the free market, and JK Rowling who is still active on social media, still involved in the Harry Potter universe including the new TV series under development, and still making pots of money. How has she been cancelled? People being criticised for some views which some people find objectionable is not the same as being cancelled. If you want to include the last Tory government blacklisting academics if they had been even mildly critical of the government, then I'd agree that is cancelled. You can have that one for free.

Oh, they definitely exist. They’re called ‘furries’. They’re weird but harmless for the most part.

As I say, I'm not a fan of his act/show but you can't argue that he hasn't been cancelled for no reason bar some don't like what his act is.

Look up Therian. I supported a young girl who felt that way. The bigger issue is those around these children who freak out over it. It's no big deal really. Only the same as people identifying with other sub-cultures.

Yep. Also slamming people from decades/ centuries ago for not knowing what we know now. Those jumping on people now will be the ones jumped on in 20 years time.
