She wasn't trying to kill herself, she thought it was her train so stepped forward ready to get on it but got too close and it hit her. She went under and has ended up losing her arm.

It's frightening to think fully grown adults can't even function now without managing to get in front of a moving train.

I jumped to my conclusion given that it's pretty hard to end up under a train without either intending to, or foul play. I'd wager she was doing **** on her phone and didn't bother to look up, and now has an eternal reminder of it

And the poor bastards that need to pick up the bits
Was on the morning Paragon to Kings Cross intercity many years ago (Deltic days) when a jumper happened south of Donny. Bits everywhere all along the track. Driver completely traumatised, transport police had to put up little tents around each body part. The train didn't move for 2-3 hours (memory is fading). Of course nobody allowed off. Horrible situation all round.

Driving along the M62 after Wrexham - overhead gantry 'queue ahead' next gantry lane closures, with arrows pointing to centre , next gantry 50mph and lane closures - successive gantries moving cars to single outside lane at 40 mph - next gantry - all clear - absolutely **** all - no roadworks , nothing - useless Highways - again

They will have been just about to start putting out the cones. They use the gantries to create a safe working area.

Advertising companies that cannot be arsed to get someone actually from the place they want them to sound like they're from so they employ some voice over to put on a stupid accent. Renault UK radio ads were always the worst, some woman pretending to be French pronouncing everything in a sterotypical 'French' way but making it plainly obvious she is not French. This was confirmed when I took the time to search her up and look at her website (it was a quiet day at work).

But now some company called 'Pressie' who have a radio advert that is supposed to be two scousers chatting about not having her Christmas shopping done but sounding like the closest they have been to Merseyside is when they visited Nottingham! Would it really have been that hard to find two scouse voice over artists or actors to do the commercial? Can Renault really not find a French person to ready out the terms and conditions for finance really fast at the end?

Anyway, I feel better for typing this out now and thanks for reading.

And these are the people/AI that monitor the hard shoulder when its used as a live lane.
