Ever thought, it’s not too late to start hedging your bets !
When I was at school they was both catholic that I had to go to. Since i've been old enough to make me own mind up i've kicked religion into touch. I won't be meeting anyone on the other side simply because there is no other side. It's all a load of rubbish.

Apologies to any believers on here, that's your choice.

I do believe but I don't ask or tell anyone to do likewise,that's entirely up to the individual.

Of course,if that individual does choose not to believe,it shouldn't give him or her the automatic right to mock anyone who does...(not that you are, but some seem to think that mocking religious people nowadays is fair game...it's not)!!

I'd never take the piss out of anyone for their believes or even their politics, I try not to do either because it always seems to end up in an argument, so just a waste of energy.

Religious beliefs are optional... It's a choice someone makes, and so should always be open to have the piss taken out of. Blasphemy laws shouldn't exist anywhere.

I think there’s a difference between taking the piss out of a person for their beliefs, which could be offensive depending on context, and taking the piss out of a religion itself or its religious figures. They should be fair game IMHO

Like you, I don't believe. I am however jealous of people who are religious, imagine how much easier dying must be. Religion is something I never argue about as there is no right and wrong, nobody knows the answer.

stasi britain with the britcard <laugh>
<ok>

Why not just make everyone have a passport, which is accepted is to travel to the US/rest of world anyway? Then those that already do won't have to pay and there will be a lowered immediate demand.

The same line that the Taliban preach, brother.

Matthew 5:39. If you can't handle being gently mocked without getting violent, then you're not really a Christian, Ric.
