Why do people get upset because their beer isn't in the correct glass?
Does it taste different?
Is there less amount?
What's the problem?
Is it being a snob when someone sees you drinking out of a glass with supposedly inferior brand on the side?
It's beer, get the ****er down ya necks and enjoy. <cheers>
beer? sod messing about with childs drinks, get some of the local spirits and drink it in plant pots

8 yrs ago in lefkada i was given tsipouro to try by a greek barman as a chaser to my vodkas. he said be careful its very strong. i ignored him and drank loads of them and got very very drunk. on the way home i collapsed 50 yrds from the villa and my wife couldnt move me. i was conscious but my legs simply wouldnt work. as if i was paralysed.
i used to have a pal who when close to being drunk used to prop himself up against the bar. i remember one time asking why and he said when he gets drunk his legs stop working. as in legless. id wondered how that could be until experiencing it for myself. never had it since. maybe due to the respect i treat tsipouro with. i always ask whats your local firewater and the bottle under the counter often comes out.......with plantpot

This sounds like you're more interested in people's perceptions of what you are drinking.

In a lot of UK pubs/chains, you will find you get it in the right glass as the suppliers want other people to see you are drinking a brand, and it is a condition of supply.

Personally I give zero ****s as they rarely have correct glasses for guest ales.

I think you are right to a certain extent, although I just like pubs to do things right, and most do to be fair.

No way he should have avoided jail, but the other guy is also a **** for burning the Koran outside the Turkish consulate.

Live and let live.
I agree, the bloke who did the antagonising in the first place shouldn't have done what he did,he's a pr!ck:emoticon-0148-yes:

That said,I've never stood in front of a judge(sheriff)yet who has openly encouraged taking the law into your own hands and arming yourself to do so.There's absolutely no rationale in not banging him up,it's actually incredible and worrying, both at the same time.

The incorrect use of the word 'literally'. As in, "I had a hot curry last night and my mouth was literally on fire"...... no it ****ing wasn't!

While I am at it, percentages! As in, "I am happy with our players, they all gave 110%". You can't give more than 100%. If your players gave 110% and the opposition gave 120%, your players were not trying As much as theirs. Aarrgghhh!
Technically you're wrong. Pepperami for example have 108% pork listed on the ingredients. This is because they have to put the weight of the meat before it was cured and it shrinks.

So perhaps when a football manager is asking for 110% he means 10% in the warm up and then 100% during the game.

I agree. On every count actually.

Sadly it’s not uncommon though.

Since 2020 repeat knife offenders should get a mandatory prison sentence, but of even those who have done it more than once less than a third get locked up (in 2023 anyway) That can’t be right. Is it due to prisons being too full?

https://www.polfed.org/westmids/new...ncing-makes-mockery-of-knife-crime-crackdown/

On the wider point anyone should be able to take the piss about any religion.
