Currently in Puerto Pollensca. Mallorca having an evening meal at a harbour side restaurant A most brilliant moon has risen from behind the mountains which is 2380000 miles away ,and people are standing on a two foot wall pointing cameras skywards to get a closer picture.
And moving further away every year, give it time and Brady won't be ruled by it. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Ordering a pint of one beer and it turning up in some other beers branded glasses. Ordered a couple of pints tonight of Madri and delivered in Guinness glasses . Also no I would not usually order Madri but I am in Mallorca with limited chance of an IPA .
Terrible isn't it. As a Guinness drinker I will refuse a pint if they serve me it in the wrong glass. Petty, maybe, but I ain't having a John Smiths glass.
Going on a holiday boat ride , two hours great going out seeing all the sights in the sun and destination - but coming back suns going down bloody wind howling at you - and those houses and hills look like the Shetland’s in January !!!
Why do people get upset because their beer isn't in the correct glass? Does it taste different? Is there less amount? What's the problem? Is it being a snob when someone sees you drinking out of a glass with supposedly inferior brand on the side? It's beer, get the ****er down ya necks and enjoy.
I suppose the amount you pay for a pint these days means you might want them to make a small effort and put it in the right glass. I can't stand when you go for a meal and you get it on a roofing slate or a chopping board or anything else except an actual plate. Just put it on a plate . That's what they're designed for.
Yeah, it'll ruin the taste, Stevie Wonder always sends his back. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
The incorrect use of the word 'literally'. As in, "I had a hot curry last night and my mouth was literally on fire"...... no it ****ing wasn't! While I am at it, percentages! As in, "I am happy with our players, they all gave 110%". You can't give more than 100%. If your players gave 110% and the opposition gave 120%, your players were not trying As much as theirs. Aarrgghhh!
This sounds like you're more interested in people's perceptions of what you are drinking. In a lot of UK pubs/chains, you will find you get it in the right glass as the suppliers want other people to see you are drinking a brand, and it is a condition of supply. Personally I give zero ****s as they rarely have correct glasses for guest ales.
Straight sided Imperial glass wot holds a pint. No branding, logos or other such nonsense and definitely no handle. I've only just got used to the fresh glass every pint conceit (because of hygiene regulations) but do now reluctantly concede that this is probably a good idea.
