Tim has never proven himself with his own team. He is SLF's mate which is not a good enough reason to bring him in. He will be an expensive mistake. We need someone who is proven in this league that the players will respect. It's yet another gamble if it goes ahead.

Like many others on this thread, I have been bored stiff by the football played this season and have often been baffled by the team selection, tactics (or lack thereof) and substitutions (or lack thereof). I have a 5 hour round trip to use my season ticket and I do wonder how much longer I can stomach this poor fare.

Nevertheless, with little or no enthusiasm, I have voted for JFH to stay. I simply hate the managerial merry-go-round and think that we should always give a manager a minimum of one full season to see what he can produce. The signs don't look good here but I'm going to stick to my principles.

The thought of Tim Sherwood appals me. I was dubious about JFH in the first place because of his limited track record. On this basis alone, Sherwood is no better than JFH - he'd just be another short-term experiment. If/when we do replace JFH, I'd want an experienced manager: Bruce or Allardyce would be ideal, although they'd probably think, quite rightly, that they could do better than QPR. Hell, I'd even go for the odious Pearson.

Replacing Ramsey with Jimmy ****face was like replacing Baldrick with Private Pike. Bringing in Sherwood would be like "upgrading" to Rodney Trotter.
