It won't be down to RD if Poyet goes it will be down to Poyet. He has had two Contract offers from the Club, the second one very generous but he has turned them down. I think he will be on his way. As a regular watcher of the U21s and U18s it sickens me that we have brought through Poyet from the U10s and if he leaves we will get £400000 for him. Nothing if he goes abroad. We should have tried to tie him to a contract a lot sooner. The club have made a big mistake.

Eddie, Wilson has got another year of his contract to run.

Nego got a two and half year contract, Thuram was on loan so he has returned to SL. It hasn't been announced that Osborne has signed for another year. Gerard and Sho-Silva have signed one year deals. Academy lads who have previously signed are Munns, Kadell Daniels, Phillips, Holmes - Dennis and according to his twitter account Levander Pyke. With Harry Lennon and Morgan Fox both on pro deals it looks like there will be a large presence of home grown players next season.

I think that Feely, Jordan and Azeez will be leaving.

Skeptical about these 2 offers story. From my understanding there hasn't been a discussion since February.

Reading poyet's twitter - I have a feeling he may well sign. Though not saying anything of note, it's interesting he's replying to messages about talk of new contracts. He could easily have avoided those posts and just responded to the ones congratulating him.

Or am I just clutching at straws?

I hope you are right Super, great that Osborne has signed a new contract till 2016.

    Players under contract.
    Pope, Phillips,
    Solly, Wilson, Nego, Fox, Wiggins
    Lennon, Osborne, Daniels, Holmes-Dennis, Pyke
PP, Reza, Sho-Silva, Gerard, Cousins, Jackson, Harriott, Church,Pigott,

Would love to add Poyet,Morrison and Dervite to that list. I think we need a Centre half, wide right midfielder, two centre midfielders and two strikers. Also maybe a wide left midfielder. Seven to eight good quality signings, not from the network, would make a hell of a lot of difference to our squad.

    Poyet's thank you message;

@diegopoyet7: Thankyou to everyone who helped me win POTY, absolutely buzzing. Couldn't have asked for a better group of lads to play with this season
@diegopoyet7: And share this award with. Great night at the valley yesterday and I hope to see you all again. Enjoy your summer 👍

I was outside the ground last night and looking around the bins for any information I could gather.

All I found was a receipt for Simon Church to have 2 weeks at the Johnnie Jackson Training Camp and 20,000 redundant Jonjo Shelvey wigs (which I think were just spray painted swimming caps).

That's a bit harsh, Dicky. Richard is only 28. Not quite dead yet.

I have been constantly bitching about the six players RD brought in from the network and I still think it was a disaster. It confused team selection for both Powell and Riga and occupied places in the u21s which our own youngsters could have occupied.

And to have given contracts to Ghoochanejhad, Przyszek and Nego is just squandering our club's resources. I expect them all to disappear on loan and never return.

But to be fair, it does not necessarily mean that he cannot bring in useful players now. He probably shipped out players who were restless or square pegs as a quick fix for their clubs. If any clicked at Charlton that would have been a bonus, but may not have been his main objective.

He will presumably try to keep his best players at Standard Liege, but it would be surprising if between the other clubs there are not a few players who are well up to Championship standard and could advance their careers by moving to Charlton.

And if they have any self-respect, they will be glad to leave.

In the end it's totally down to the player, they just don't have these tribal loyalties now and if he's been offered two contracts it seems the Club are doing all the can to keep him, more than with Shelvey, but for Poyet it's maybe not enough as the allure of premier league football beckons if he turns up there.

Poyet will sign for Sunderland and then be loaned straight back to us for the entirety of next season. FACT.

Ben Alnwick will re-sign within the next few weeks. FACT.

Two young Africans are joining from Standard Liege, but I have no more details as yet. FACT.

Morro will sign a new contract by Friday. FACT.

I can't let on where I've obtained this information, as the source will dry up if I do.

    Jose Riga. Almost a fact.

I hear Tino Schmidt is a possible signing from Carl Zeiss. He plays on the left of midfield and is highly rated.

Apparently all new signings (but not existing players) will be under the age of 26, so that rules out the Chris Eagles rumour.

CP is on the verge of taking up the reins at a new club (Blackpool?) and Dyer will be joining him. However, I also understand CP is mulling over a decision to join Stuart Pearce's set-up at Forest.

Damien Matthew is set to move up to the assistant manager position if Riga does stay on.

Good news if true that we will have Poyet next season, in an ideal world he would sign a contract as I am sure any money we would recieve via tribunal will be peanuts compared to what he he is worth even now and what the club deserve for developing him since such a young age but you cant have it all! I personally would not like to see him go to Sunderland, it comes accross that he is going because his Dad is their manager and he is a good enough player to step out of the old mans shadow and make it on his own.

Alnwick signing would confirm Hamer leaving the club as Pope is getting rave reviews and I like the look of Phillips from what I have seen to be 3rd choice (with a potential loan move like Pope has done)

I will always be sceptical of any players joining us via 'The Network'

It was rumored we were getting a couple of African players back in January. I assume it's the same guys.

Think your right about morro. Despite being out of contract he hasn't been told he can leave, so hope KM has a contract lined up. Then we need a solid parter for him.

Sunderland is the only question mark I'd have. Noises are poyet sr might move on once they are safe. To an ex club, which is more a concern IMO.

From talking to someone at the POTY Alnwick was furious when dropped for Thuram and asked to leave immediately, I cannot see him returning. Would love to be wrong though.

Judging by Poyet's comments on the OS he could well be staying with us next year. I know he is not going to say anything negative after winning POTY but he was glowing in terms of Charlton, the staff and the other players.
