<cheers> I've had a drink tonight too.

I've not. I just despise what I saw today. You think you're a funny guy popping on here and claiming you're happy as a hammers fan.

It was simply anti-football. Many of my mates are west ham fans and I like them before today's game hoped you'd survive by the skin of your teeth. Then Sam would get the boot and you could take your team with a new manager into the new stadium and restore some pride. I've spent years liking west ham, but your team is shocking in how it plays. I have a ST so I can go and enjoy football. Today was appalling.

I must apologise for swearing at you. There is no need. I'm sorry.

Agree with this. Nolan is a disgrace with his constant baracking of the ref and Joey O'Brien timewasting in the 5th minute was another low point. Makes me proud to suport Saints!

O'Brien, Demel, and Jussi were time-wasting for the whole match, save for when West Ham were losing. Pathetic.

And on the assumption that you don't time-waste after 5 mins with the intention of running down the clock (85 mins left!!!), it was clearly instead a tactic to infuriate us, and slow the game right down. Negative, negative, negative.

No problem mate.

I used to look forward to games against West Ham you knew you were going to see some classy players. They used to have talent, style, panache and great players as well as a good manager. Now they are worse than just plain awful. They don't even bother to play football and their fans can no longer see that they have lost their great heritage. It is a crying shame that such a once very good club should become such a discredit to the game. They are not even half as good as the old Bolton that they are trying to emulate.

As for trixter well sorry mate your attempts to defend them cut no ice with us. Your team is undeniably absolute **** mate the worst ever in the PL.

I would rather watch the old Wimbledon or Stoke than that rubbish. Thank goodness I wont have to watch them again for possibly twelve months. If it was any sooner I would give up watching the game.

I think we should all chill and give our club, our side and our manager some credit. All the smaller teams play the park the bus, counter, long ball and defend on mass card when they meet the top sides. The know it's their only chance.

We are now one of the top sides :) Thank you West Ham for realising it :)

Oh well at least we didn't lose. lol

Let me rephrase that: we are in danger of getting a bit "holier than thou" here.

You ****ing bet we are and not just a bit but a great bloody deal "holier than thou" with every right because we aren't a **** team like West Ham.

Six hours after the game has ended and I am still angry at the referee, Nolan and Fat Sam for making 30,000 people have too sit through that rubbish.

You are thinking of the likes of Brabrook, Bond, Brooking, Boyce, Hurst, Moore, Peters, Greaves type players? Long gone.

Trixter, honestly...would you prefer that the brand of football you are playing would change? If you get rid of Allardyce at the start of the summer and make a couple of astute signings you can come back in August playing decent football.

What a load of over dramatic bollocks.

What should we have done? Come and gone toe to toe with you and gift you the three points? Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal couldn't so why should we bother trying?

Today West Ham produced a very good, disciplined away performance that earned us a valuable point.

We play some good stuff at home and have dished out a few tonkings (as you know) and I would much rather watch a performance like today than the heroic 2-3 defeats we were used to under Zola and Grant etc.

West Ham United is a club is massive financial trouble. Gold and Sullivan need to make sure we stay in the premier league for a few years whilst we stabilize. If that means a bit of "needs must" like today then that's fine with me.

A few years of dull football will not undo 100 years of history and we will soon be back to some brighter performances once we are an established premier league side with more stable finances.

Get a grip. Today was a solid, well earned point that we are pleased with. Worry about your own team and we will worry about ours.

If a stronger ref had been in controlof that game your teams disciplined performance would have been rewarded with the cards many of your cheating, diving players deserved. You used to be a good footballing side to watch, how can you watch that crap with players going to ground at the slightest touch and then come on here and justify it as a good and disciplined performance?

When we played west ham in the championship at st marys, it was a great game. My friend is a west ham fan living in Soton and he loved that match regardless that we won 1-0 but he was appalled at yesterday's game and said he can see their brand of football becoming the " west ham way"
I thought Nolan was overly aggressive throughout towards players and ref alike. Never seen so many players man handle a ref in a match before.
It's such a shame but if noble and cole were on the pitch it may have been a different game entirely.
